Mark 2 Tejas revealed . 1st Flight 2023

What a crack load of jacksht,,,,all this hoopla abt tejas mk2/MWF(the next best thing n what not) is nothing but a new chooran for dpsu bhakts.
All this when order of mk1a is still in doldrums.
I think neither the airforce nor the incumbent nationalist govt. have any confidence in tejas,,, they r dragging thr feet for 5 years for ordering the apparently improved mk1a,,,if tejas mk1a gets orders this financial year even thn isn't coming before 2024-25.
But why will dumb fanboiz understand that,,,n here they r contemplating mk2.
Absolutely pathetic.

According to the existing plan, the AMCA’s first flight will be in 2027 and full production by 2029.
And not long after they have to get AMCA's flying.

Not gonna lie it does look pretty cute but only because it was designed by European firms because it looks Gripen, MK2, baby.

for your sake let's hope they do drag their feet and start to waste billions of dollars on mk2

because the alternative is modi signing for either more Rafale most likely or buying the complete production line of block 70 f16 as offered to India many times

which you want mk2 tejas
or usa to sell f16
or modi to sign for more Rafale

my bet is mk2 tejas there is a,serious desire to avoid buying future combat planes from.abroad. The Indians feel a slightly inferior or late fighter is better for winning ways than hyper expensive Rafale or super high maintenance Russian birds or potentially strings attached usa teens. Also India wants to keep the billions of dollars in indian companies.

our navy has shown us how indengious persistence pays off long term. our navy is inducting indian built destroyers carrier and nuke subs.
so what if some sub systems are overseas that is good for increasing lethality but the product is indian
this is why both tejas and Amca will arrive a nation as big as India needs a serious indian aviation industry just look at our helicopters and our space programme.

your ignorance has no.limit
the post says fixed static prototype model 2022
first single flight 2023
initial operational.clearance will be 5 to 7 years later after 1000 flights and 5 protypes are built
it's spin off of tejas with 70 percent commonality but larger for increase fuel.and 4 additional hard points
just read what I write don't just vent anger and make assumptions

20
16 in flying tigers no45
4 in second squadron
8 more joining 2021
12 more in 2022 when 2nd production line opens

So the 20 number you claimed is counting aircraft that have not even been built yet? Are you really this incompetent?

no45 squadron has been completed 16 planes operational now redeployed to northern India

no 18 squadron formed may 2020 with 3 planes handed over now 4th joined and based at sulur until squadron matures to 16 planes by 2022 then like n045 squadron will be moved to indo pak border

look just do the research yourself we started inducting them in 2016 at snails pace .
we now have second production line
8 produced annually in line1
4 produced line 2 rising to 8 in 2022.
we will open 3rd line upon signature of 5 billion order for 83 mark1a, in 2023
the 83 fighters will be delivered in 4 or 5 years Max ie 2028

then we go straight to mark 2028.

this is the plan and time line.

yes we have 35 tejas in flight today
20 operational.combat mark 1
4 twin seater trainers
11 prototypes including 2 seated naval versions[/QUOTE]

You have 20 FOC aircraft in front line service right now? Simple question, yes or no? No need for several paragraphs.
