Only way forward is to make UN more democratic institution otherwise current political setup suits all UNSC members very well. Only an idiot would think that they would part with power they hold.

No way this would ever happen, India is not even a superpower, and they have a massive territorial dispute with Pakistan, which they refuse to negotiate.

Also the UK is obviously desperate for money post-brexit, so they'll stroke that Indian ego if it means some billionaire will set up a manufacturing plant over here.

We are long term planners and we have to develop our country to what China is now. Then we will have the leverage and the power to influence change.
