To be a politician, it is not only your hard work that will get you where you want.

You require a whole lot of money and a whole lot of goon power.

It takes ages to acquire both.

Even ill gotten gains and leadership of goons takes time!



That is why Capt Gopinath, Ms Sanyal etc who are good, young and honest people could not get elected.

Even Manmohan has not been able to win an election!

Every elected government in India will have a term of 5 years, prividing it has 2/3 majority support of MP's in the lower house. This Congress government took charge on May 2009. So, next election should be in after April 2014.

I do not think Congress will win if MMS is not the priministrial candidate.
