What does an age gap have to do anything? Both partners must be of legal age of consent, doesn't really matter what the age gap is.

Actually the marriagable age in Maldives is 15 and Sexual activity outside marriage is illegal

Even in India the minimum age for marriage is 16 years (15 years for Muslim women) but age of consent for sex is 18(was 16 years before) While the legal age for marriage under law is 18yrs for women and 21 yrs for men.

Are you sure. The marriage only gets registered in India if men & women reach the age of 18 and 21 years respectively.
