I think Srilanka should act fast as well.. Nothing will work better for you then to setup Chinese naval post in Sri lanka.. At least, India and others would have good reasons to act accordingly..

India won't do jack when China builds military base in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka will probably link the base to assurance of military backing of China. Any attack on Sri Lanka will be an act of war against China. If India attack Sri Lanka, India will lose MASSIVE support in the international community. Then every South Asian country will seek military alliances with China.

China is Australia's biggest trading partner. There is no way Australia will sacrifice its economy for India.

since when Australia becomes a China's neighbor despite the fact that those two countries are in two different hemisphere,and China has 14 land neighors,those are real neighbors cause we are connected by land not the ocean.we have very good relations with all of them except or India and Vietnam.

even those countries listed by Indians as their friends have way closer economic and trade relations with China than with India.their economies are largely influenced by China.

You start one in IOC and India will set up one is East Sea and to bring your navy IOC you will have to first cross East sea and then face forces at Andaman.
