Sure. Technically we could do it now, our military is so overwhelmingly powerful in comparison to theirs, that we could wipe out most of their military assets with the first barrage of missiles.

But that is a messy solution. By 2025 we can accumulate enough hard power (as well as spies/patriots within the ROC) that we could conceivably take it back without bloodshed.

The harder problem is what to do with those people living in Taiwan who still hate their motherland China. Maybe we can arrange for them to get some other nationality, or maybe let them swim into the Pacific ocean and hope for 龍王 to save them.
