Malaysia offers $ 5-6bn for construction of Bangabandhu Airport

If we have a choice between the two, a deep sea port is much more desire able as it will reduce shipment time for both import and export that has to go through Singapore via feeder vessels, costing us 1-3 weeks each way. This will make Bangladesh a more attractive destination for manufacturing and help existing manufacturers become more competitive with other countries that have deep sea ports.

LMAO...ever the more optimist iajdani... it's okay, it is good to be optimistic, but not too optimistic.

Approximately 7 million Bangladeshis are currently working abroad, mostly in the Middle East. Again, not my source. Cargo is nowhere near significant outbound from Dhaka.

If you don't know what you are talking about, just say you don't know. Assuming you understand everything just makes you look more misinformed and fall in a never ending hole.

Please, don't make up numbers.

Your circular logic is irritating if you did not know that. The 46 million passenger is mentioned in the project proposal as a transit passenger plus the % of increase of domestic passenger. It also talked about cargo handling. You believe a businessman 6 billion dollar in pocket dumber than you?

Where is this 'circular logic' you're babbling about? I posted facts. So far, you haven't answered any question asked by the folks who question it.

Call it critical reasoning rather than following around like a mindless zombie.

Post the source. Not mere speculations. I want to know from whom that kind of information is coming from.

Just what forecasting technique did they use to come to that number? You realize that number is like more than a quarter of Bangladesh's population?

Nothing is really transparent in Bangladesh. Remember this magnetic train thingy back in the BNP admin? What happened to it?

Our tourism industry isn't that spectacular in terms of numbers. Nor is it very developed. But it has tremendous potential.

And in case you didn't realize, your posts reek of bigotry. Cursing and belittling anyone critical of the proposal. Did you go through some Awami ritual or something? This is exactly what's going on in the politics of Bangladesh and literally destroying its credibility.

Unlike you, I never bragged about politics, or get personal with insults. It doesn't do anything but reduce your credibility.
