And these 1000 policemen are going to do what in those vast dense jungles? That's like looking for a pin in a haystack blindfolded!

There is no strategy whatsoever, no planning, SOPs that are hardly followed and an untrained pot bellied police force that knows squat how to fight in jungle terrain. Except for the two or three police commando units, this so called anti Naxal force is a joke. So are the honchos who are 'directing' this war against the Naxals. They are as clueless as hens in a pigsty!

They must co-opt experienced Army officers, who are well versed in jungle warfare, to advise these mugs on how to fight a war in this terrain. This is specialized warfare and the police force needs to be trained accordingly before they are inducted into jungle terrain.

As of now it's the blind leading the blind.

Exactly Orion, our gov't has no clue how to fight this war. Time and time again, we have seen how incompetent they are.
