Why can't we currently use something like this for ab initio IAF training eh? Single engine, prop. check. So why are we even buying the basic trainers from foreign companies? Filling ministers' coffers I guess..

the dorniier has different specs from nm-5.

yeah NAL has produced a all composite airframe trainer called the Hansa they could have used that for basic or abi initio training purposes
