FORCE ONE SUV Launched starting at Rs10.65 Lakhs :)
Amitabh Bachchan is the Brand Ambassador
Force ONE site: Force One - Be The Force
Lacks ABS+EBD et al . though Firodias claims they will launch deluxe models later. IMO, ABS must be made compulsory for SUVs.

Impulse ... hehe ... 'Dirt' Bike

images

This 'dirt' bike idea has always been a flop in dirty India. Many Co.'s tried.
Reason: A bike is a 'semi-prestigious' thing, several notches up from 'dirty' bi-cycles and scooters.

A buyer who has arrived in the world by buying a mass market (dozens of millions per yr.) bike would rather not buy a 'dirt' bike.
Why would anyone go for self-degradation? Rather, a mass market ... hehe ...'executive' bike, an aspirational bike is what teh masses would be into. Prestige & class is everything in India, 'dirt' is a baad-*** word.

why mods wont take action against him. he always trolling and blaming india. if it was indian he will be banned for sure.

What he was saying about why "dirt bikes" never got a good market in india is true. How is it blaming india?Or did you think "dirt bike" is some abusive term?

Dont u see he called "dirty india". im bolded it.

... hehe ... ' im bolded it.'
Baap-re-baap, hyper political mc-bc this ben 10.

Best to ignore s**le-ko. Zyaada disturb karegaa to ban ..

It is dirty India re: vehicles context only silly, as in 'dirt-grime-grit and potholes' of rural and semi-urban India ... hehe ... or Pak, Nepal, Lanka, Bangla .... is S.Asia ok, re: bikes.

Mahindra NC 640 DP Pickup - Found This Gem on the Net

Ben 10, it's ingenious ;) how you politised a naive and innocent comment re: vehicles, bikes and driving conditions in India and hijacked it completely out of context.

Wah ben 10 yaar, kya bhejja-fry ... :)

^^^^^^^

Full 100 % chor-chor party :( - Classic Made-In China maal, & cheaper than Pulsar I bet.

Otherwise, my friend handed me an The Economist, March 15/2011 edition article on the Tata group. Tata's are the largest employer ... ahem ... in the UK, per the article. Link : http://www.economist.com/node/18285497.

My 2 cents on Tata Motor's is that as usual they used the closed desi market to develop giant cartel-style market share, profits and skills. They leverage the desi market background to bag JLR & Daewoo, both being choked by corp. 'parents' Ford and Hyundai.

Article says Tata JLR on line to make $ 1 Billion profit PLUS GIVE TATA MOTORS SOME HELP. We can see herein the thread Tata Motors can use some cues, hints and help. JLR is it then. Tata gonna get none else but JLR to shimmy up their India centered Global lower to mid range biz. while get Tata group synergies and raw material - both human and natural (think auto software, transmission engineering, hybrid and electrical sub-systems, steel ... hehe .. hopefully not call centres & customer service) to boost JLR. May even do cross - over models for India and cheaper markets. I suggest they do like Benz's 'Bharat-Benz' trademark.

New 'Baby' Land Rover by Tata

images

Tata must not dilute Jaguar brand for now, but Land Rover can grand-father an Indian or emrging market vehcile family .... say Land Rover Emerge a la 'Bharat Benz', whynot. Or LR India. This way they keep the ... hehe ... 'virginity' or authenticity of the LR brand to retain ongoing and new converts in high end markets, the new 'baby' LR is fantastic. And re: emerging markets, broaden and deepen the market with association with the Land Rover brand. Heck, Tata's should develop all new off-roaders with this new brand identity, while retaining the classy label re: their Indian off-road type family.

New LR above is fabulous.

Tata has Super Premium label Jaguar. Best to leave it alone, don't touch!
Tata has Land Rover, the original British off road and dirt jeep. I say mate it to Indian SUV biz. and grand-father a new Land Rover Emerge brand, for widening and deepening the market. Like a discount LR for cheaper markets.

Tata has Sumo, Safari, Arya & Xenon brands in India. These are not cheap. These must be imporved and brought up to Land Rover standards with an eye on future co-branding.
Tata should intro a new, Indian made basic and inexpensive co-branded Tata-Land Rover Emerge, say in the Jap style mini-SUV range for Global bottom-of-the-pyramid markets. An 'aspirational' product in the Tata Nano, Pixel, Ace, Penguin type family.

Anybody post this ?

Only Rs. 3.2 Lakhs ($ 7272) M&M Maxximo Mini Van, expensive if you ask me.

Liquid Bro.,

We know about Reva, and while good stuff is ongoing, what's really going om?

We had such high hopes, they were 1'st-to-market, decent engg., great design and evolution and all that ... gr8 rep., too.

Reva was almost :

  • THE ingenious, defining, game-changing and discontinuous made-in-India product, much more than just a vehicle.

Reva ppl. seemed to be doing all the r8 things, so unusual 4 a desi Co. Reva guys were deeking out their own game. Reva was to announce India's arrival, which the Tata Nano ran away with.

So why did'nt they ... how the desi boyz in Amrikaa say these days, 'slam-dunk' their home advantage and run-away with the global small electric vehicle a la iPhone & now iPad. Saaaad :(

I hope M&M goes all out with the Reva, do they even know what they bought out?
