Where did you pulled these numbers from? I guess Gov't is just wasting resources on the census when you can do it easily from behind a keyboard.

Easy brother. Its an Educated guess at best based on 1998 result with natural growth rate data accumulated from various surveys since then and accounting for refugees and immigrants. Some infrastructure development, both legal and illegal also incorporated.

Pop doesn't pop out of nowhere. Population most have declining in other parts if Karachi pop is 26 million now.

True unless illegals from afghanistan included. They shouldnt be, but it will be hard to tell.

families those migrated from india before 1970 should have Pakistani citizenship. but unfortunately many of them are now suffering. most of them had identity cards till 2015, but after expiring the ID Card now Govt is not issuing ID card to them. neither they are behari nor bangali they are Urdu speaking. one of my cousin in pakistan is facing the same problem although she has done her school/collage and university education in Pakistan. her father mistakenly mentioned his birth in india and now his entire family are suffering including my cousin (fiance). she is also not getting any job.

i am really wondering there may be alot of people like my cousin.

When did the father move to Pakistan? This doesn't sound right, I have Urdu speaking relatives who brought over Indian relatives a few years back and they don't seem to be having any issues.

No, usually general surveys/estimates like WHO or related organizations. You can search them on google

These surveys are not accurate or official

My original post of 26mil. was a very general estimate.

Im sure this census will show it within +- 2 mil. of my estimate

her father family moved to Pakistan before 1970. the problem is that my uncle don't have any Previous record of his father except the Old ID card but this Old ID Card is not being accepted by NADRA. and there is no record of Old ID card in NADRA.
