Here is information on more assistance to Bangladesh by India. In 1972, in addition to the Dakota that was transferred from Bangladesh Air Force (which was in turn from India), two Fokker F-27s were also given to Biman by India.

well they don't look like gifts then rather like an exchange ,a barter.
I don't care anyway.It seems like our armed forces started from scratch(except they had some expertise) and that makes me even more proud of them.
