What's new

Look How Rich India's Become Under New Prime Minister Modi

. .
Oil prices are equally low for all countries not just India. You have to give this govt its due, they have made a start, needs to keep going. The steps will add up in a few years and we should see real change . No doubt there will still be poverty, problems etc. after all there are homeless in the richest country in the world but we should see improvement in the nation. no magic wand will turn a country with years of bad policy into Norway . overnight.

Norway is heading for some really bad times...matter of few more years.

I guess, you don't know how to see a graph.

X Axis denotes GDP % and Y-axis says Years

May be a case for knowledge defunct people like you who claim to be from Singapore, yet not knowing Singapore's nominal GDP.

Singapore's GDP is around 300 billion.

So even at 100% it never borrowed trillion dollars anytime.

Sorry but I didn't understand. What you mean by "Whatever" thread? o_O

There is a thread named "Whatever" in Members section. Anyway, I was just asking what would be the cost of a Singapore lunch (vegetarian) as I told you earlier that I am going in June with family. I am planning, so...can you please tell me? Lunch is not included in my itenary.

Son! We are talking about "Gross External debt".

And that is compared to its GDP. When a country puts up its loan application in the IMF/WB. The first thing the bank sees is percentage of its debt vis-a-vis its GDP.

Now let me quote your own (such) words.

You need to compare with GDP %

Now you are really trapped with no escape route.
And you are no Abhimanyu..Lol
