Logical PDF is gone?

i just want to take permission from every body to express some opinions

1) this site was used to be a very logical site but mostly we see rants and emotional BS every where, whats the use of god given human brain if we are being illogical?, so i suggest members to stay logical and dont rant at all

2) there was less diversity back then now there are many members from many nationailty, instead of being a senior member, the members tend to troll a lot, which didnt use to happen before, we see many useless fighting and cursing, and frequent use of harmonic surge and cursing the nationalities of others

3) neutrality is becoming rare, members are being biased against some nationalities and consider their own to be superior, this is true for all the local pakistan ethnics and international members

4) extensive use of graphic images and videos, which is being used to propagate to start a syrian war and members crying for every thing, please if you have some points then discuss with a degnified manner, and give your opinions, and stop inflaming

5) our own pakistani people presence here seems to be divided which party to support in case of arab and persian rivalry esp which is a hot topic in wolrd affains in PDF these days,instead on basing their opinions as a neutral member they are being biased on either side, i request the pakistanis to be neutral on these matters because, what we talk gives a lot of impression to other nationalities, if we are being biased the opposition will think if us in a negative manner, so we need to be respectful and neutral, we dont have stake in their rivalry

6) i have been called to 'kill myself' on several occasions based on my opinions, many members have been called swine, this is just an example of the type of discussions being carried out these days, this is very uncivilised way of carrying out a discussion

7) if some member thinks that somebody was stating his opinions in an absurd way, dont go rampaging on him for absurdity, ask for the clarification and if it makes logic then you have no right to be angry on it, be tolerant and accept others opinions, if it doesnt make logic, there is no further need to carry out discussion with him and you can move on

8) for political guys, if you dont agree with some party's ideology they you can have civilised discussion without cursing and blaming it for all the mess, members shouldnt get over board on political issues, we can all be gentlemen

7) please i request every one to refrain from polluting this site from their emotional diarrhoea

Finally i would like to say to my pakistani brothers that they avoid making members of other nationalities upset and do care for their emotions as they come here as goodwill embassadors, we are their hosts and they are our guests

It is natural that whenever you try to discuss something, the party which cannot discuss logically will start personal attacks on you ie attack you, your race, your ethnicity etc. To survive in the forum and discuss logically without getting personal, you need to have a thick skin. I would advise the moderators to look at the issue of personal attacks more seriously. I reported many personal attacks against me, my race and ethnicity but I doubt any action has been taken.

I do agree it is very difficult to not reply to a personal attack in kind, but I try my best to ignore the part of post which consists of personal attacks.

Also there is another rule in the forum regarding "Sarcasm". Conveying a point with sarcasm is supposed to be a rule violation. I see members posting ridiculous images with sarcastic texts to get their points across, which is really a cheap thing to do. I think this rule should be enforced very seriously by the moderators and any sarcastic posts should be deleted with members warned.

I promised Mosamania that from now on i would stay out of any topic concerning the following:

1). Syrian conflict.

2). Iran vs Saudi/Arab threads.

3). Anything discussion that involves bashing Arabs or Iranians.

4). I would not open any thread that criticizes Saudi Arabia/Arabs.


I will only participate in threads regarding the above topics if they are related to or concern Pakistan in any way.

frankly we can stay out or be neutral, the useless emotional diarrhoea is becoming mind freak for some members, i dont find any logic following their emotional rivalries in the first place, this is not persian gulf this is arab gulf,this is not arab gulf this is persian gulf, i find these arguement complete waste of time

last day i spend my good time explaining some things to mosa, but he was like a drunk guy rant crying every time , so its useless, such is the standard of PDF nowadays

It's a pet peeve of mine - its like are you too good to use an actual argument?
