No country can send Astronauts in that space without test trials. You want to agree when this is about Rus Federation or Chinese Cosmonauts ? Indian Rocket Programme is seperate and Indian Manned Space Missions are Seperate. There is something called confidential and Classified, Union Government of India do have this.

The Indians were probably too cheap to pay the Russians for their most advanced landing system. Or perhaps some corrupt babu pocketed a portion of the funds for buying a Russian system, so the Russians sent over an inferior system instead.

Union Government of India does have indigenous Rocket Programme. Riyasat e Mysore has introduced rocket technology.

They are not short of making wild claim. I do not understand how can they underestimate the magnitude of soft landing? I already know the difficulty when ESA and Israel failed their soft landing on Mars and Moons recently.

Maybe becos they see CNSA so easy to landed 2 times on Lunar and think its easy.... What China achieved is a huge feat but most Chinese are not very excited for Yutu 1 & 2 becos we know manned landing on moon or mars is our goal.
