Based on linguistics: Turko-mongol language is the same class, like Semitic or indo-european.
However, I always wondered why the eastern Caspian Turks are not like Western Caspian Turks (l mean Azerbaijanis and Turkumanistanis are not similar at all)?

i dont believe altaic language family so that altaic language family was made up by eu , yes turkic and mongolic people lived with same region but always with enmity may be mongol language influenced by turkic people or turkic language influenced by mongols ..

i searched genetic origin turkmenistan that turkmen women have 15 -20 % mongolid mt dna but turkmen men have mostly caucasoid Y dna like other turkics ( 90 %)

Anatolian Turks, Azeri Turks and Turkmens of Turkmenistan are part of the Turkic dynastic mythological system tracing their descent from the Oghuz tribe from Mongolia/Central Asia

I don't think infidels is the right word, mate. There are still a lot of Turkic communities that are Tengriists even today---something you were too before your ancestors adopted Islamic belief.

But yes, Mongols were ruthless.

Being loyal to Tengriism, is not a bad thing. It is like being loyal to your Nation, your ancestors. Just as I am loyal to Islam. It goes paralel with the culture.

As for me, i am Caucasian, not Mongoloid. If i were Mongol, i would not mind. I am not racist nor racially pure. But i dont feel kinship with Mongols. Far distant cousins maybe from 20-30 generations back in history.

As for language issue, i found similarities in Mongol language and Turkic languages.

English: with The power of eternal God/Sky/Sky God.

Nope, as I before said: Genetic change happened through intermarriage. Dead Anatolian men, Live Anatolian women and live Turkish men = Turkish People.

And intermarriage had already started in Central Asia, before Turks came to Anatolia. For example, Uzbeks, Turkmens and Uighurs have Caucasian genes.

Mughals also claim themselves as descendent of Taimur. There is a photo of last Mughal King when he was exiled to Rangoon by British, he looked more like Indian, not even slightly mongoloid.

Babur was descendant of both Genghis Khan (mother side) and Tamerlane (father side)

So Babur was Mongol by ethnicity, Turk by culturally.
