'(lips)Kiss of love' protest outside RSS office in Delhi, 70 detained

Nah, even if we just look at Ajanta/Ellora cave paintings, the idea of openness was there, not uninhibited sex, but skin display was not frowned upon. You can see that in Bali even today. Women still take bath nude/semi nude in public places.
I had a good point to make but message is awaiting mod approval. :(

every religion tried to undermine the feminine power in their own naive way, but such a powerful force can't be tamed even by the God's themselves. It's futile to fight against it except to bow in front of it.

Not every religion. Hinduism considers Shakthi as the highest form of divine. None of our Hindu gods were afraid to run and seek help from a goddess. LOL.

surely, you are not suggesting that ladies should get offended even if a dashing and real man should cast a subtle glance towards them, much less look them in the eye suggestively...

surely, you are not suggesting that all ladies should become that fake and un-natural...

you yourself are a lady... please act real... sincere advise... :-)

Ohh, where did you get the impression that I am against courting or falling in love or dating? These things are different and eating up public space for private acts is different. I think it is too much to expect normal understanding of issues from you.

.
Do you see aghoris running on roads disrupting traffic and making a display?
They live their quiet lives off the grid and hardly mingle with normal public or mix with society.
Who did Ram sene do?
how is RSS related to them?
Do you think people kiss to display for the crowd? They too live their quiet lives. And if it disrupts traffic, then blame the people. Indian traffic gets disrupted even if a decently beautiful girl walks on the street. So you advocate girls to sit in their homes?! You want to ban people from taking bath in the Ganga rather than kicking away the voyeurs?!

In a country like India many things are obscene and alarming to others like eating pan with the stinky splash it makes everywhere. Some may want to puke at the spectacle. Do people police pan-eaters? In a village that I know, the upper caste family used to be offended if the lower caste people walked by them with chappals on. What do you say? Save such aholes from getting unduly offended?

Ram Sene/RSS are foot soldiers of such policing movements. You ever been to Bengaluru? They harp on about imaginary Indian culture which apparently does not condone such acts. They just can't keep their idea of morality in their pants. Want to rub everyone with it.

come on... it is you getting misty eyed over some imagined "pure past of glorious bharatvarsh".

likewise the ones whom you want to turn away also have the right to knock some sense into the offenders who are hurting their sensibilities, rights go both ways,It cannot be my rights and sensibilities are haram while yours is halaal/kosher.
Do it in your room nobody is bothered, do it in public and put up a display then you are infringing on rights and sensibilities of others.
Show your bravado of telling others to turn away in front of jama masjid and see what happens.
By all means, people have the right to knock some sense to 'offenders'. By talking to them. Not by taking law into their hands and using violence. No rights do not go both ways. Look at the example I gave above about the casteism in our villages. What you are calling a right is not a right. It may at best be a sensibility. If you see something unagreeable to your taste, turn the other way. THAT's your right. Carry it wherever you want.

It is not like these people purposely go about on the roads and kiss before a temple. They don't do it for the bravado.

it means sell you snake oil somewhere else ... where its worth anything.

sincerely, my domain... or work-place... is every place where humanity lives... socialism by any means... especially when it gets me into the affections of ladies, heh heh...

I guess certain amount of humanity does live under burkha ... how about you start from there. We will take your lead from there on.

First start advocating it to the females in your home, then start preaching rights outside. When you are ok with PDA and rights of your family, let us know there will be a long queue in front of your home to watch the spectacle.
Be sane please. Don't let a small issue like this trip your brain. Again people(at least that I know of) don't kiss for showing off. Females of my home?! What is that supposed to ashame me? I say the same thing for both males and females of my home, you sexist. That there are a**holes in this society.

There is bharatiyata and bharatiya culture and then there is western culture,
Your name, your acts the way you behave are dependent on that culture.
It is not imaginary it as real as you are.
People here are kissing to display it to the crowd in case you didn't notice.
Nobody stopped them from doing it in privacy or their homes.
Stop giving all kinds of excuses first tell me are you ok with these liberties in your home regarding your female folk?
YES or NO?
if Yes, let everyone know about it and yes there will be a huge crowd waiting to witness the show you will put up daily in front of your house.

There is a society norm and you go according to it, if you dont like it go off the grid and do whatever you want nobody is bothered, but do it in public yeah people are bothered and sometimes they take matters into their own hands and knock some sense into such posers.

Call me sexist, etc wont have any effect on me im not politically correct.

It is not supposed to shame you, why did you miss the chance to take your females of your home and have a glorious tour of kiss of life celebration being done recently i am sure your parents would be very proud of it.
You and i know that sort of thing doesn't happen in this nation so stop playing bullshit.
Just like some reserve the right to kiss in public,,likewise some deserve the right to knock sense into others.

.
Nothing to do with RSS at all , its people imitating the hugging thingy which happened in trivandrum i think

Nah that was no hugging thingy, it was the original kiss of love thingy. Two girls with 60 uncles were there. All 60 uncles got to kiss the girls. LOL.
