LNA is almost at the capital of Tripoli. It is only a matter of time and your predictions Mhmoud were wrong.

TRIPOLI – Libyan National Army is proceeding to downtown Tripoli as part of its forces operation to liberate from the grip of the militias, LNA Military Information Division said on Thursday.

“We are just few kilometers from the center of the capital,” the Division said in a statement. “We are ready to receive military orders from the General Command of the Libyan National Army to liberate what remained of the capital Tripoli,” it added.

LNA air forces had destroyed three vehicles loaded with ammunition belonging to the militias allied with the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), the Military Information Division said Thursday.

The vehicles were targeted after being monitored by LNA air forces in the Aziziyah frontline in Tripoli outskirts, the Division added.

LNA air force fighter jets had also pursued a Turkish drone and targeted it as it was landing at Mitiqa Airport in Tripoli after it raided LNA forces, according to LNA Military Information Division.

Mitiqa Airport announced later that the eastern side of the airport was targeted and confirmed that the bombing was outside the runway and did not affect the navigation operation.

Another retarded and completely pointless conflict.

Some of the good things about those civil wars in the 3-4 Arab (Iraq, not so much anymore, Syria, Libya and Yemen) countries that suffer from this is that the people in those countries will eventually wake up and learn from their past mistakes. That unity is the only way forward. That when one part of the body (Arab world) is sick others will be impacted one way or another. The "leaders" have failed tremendously but when there are few good examples (contemporary history) to draw from in said countries, it is always more difficult.

BTW such things mostly happen in countries with a weak central government and too many opportunistic people.

But this is the situation nowadays. Instead of a few large Arab states we have 20+. Some want more. I propose a country for each of the 500 million Arabs. Everyone will be a ruler of their own. After all every Arab is a sheikh as an Arab saying goes.

They are at least 10km from the city's borders and their position at that point is static since the start of their operation. And also, I call BS on that tweet saying that you can see Boulayla from there. There is no way that you can see Boulayla from that distance unless you're on a crane or something, because it is way too far to see it. On the ground you have to be at least a mile away from very certain angles to see it because there are way too many towers that obscure the view.

A few kilometers... LOL. This isn't a village.

Secondly, a Turkish drone being hit may well be true. But I think that they hit something more significant, like a weapons stash or a fuel supply, because the fire stayed on till the next morning. Drones aren't designed to burn for that long.

Oh, and also, thanks for the RPG-32s. Can't wait for Jordanian-made vs Jordanian-made.

Now all that matters is time to equip our forces with stuff meant for Haftar, and he will have to face not only a better trained enemy but also one that has decent equipment. Most confiscated from his stock, of course.

If Trump acts on impulse and supports LNA the war will be over quickly. Haftar is meeting Trump on June 15th and if Sisi, MBZ, and MBS push him he will probably succumb.
