Nope, the 26/11 is hard reality killing hundreds of innocents, my all RIP especially that Hemant Karkare, who was bursting the entire saffron terror.

There was a proposal to have a few anti aircraft guns too. I don't know whether these have been deployed there or not as yet.

Remember, all VAs/VPs in India are adequately protected.

yup......such as drilling holes in the dam wall and then stufging the holes with tons of explosives.then rigging the detonation wiring and fuses...and working out the precise timings of each battery to go.off as simultaneous detknation may cancel each other...or peel a chunk of the dam wall instead of demolishing it.

Now you are on track. If the dam cannot be destroyed because of intelligent reasons cited here, it would not have been protected. All intelligence at the end of the day are merely possibilities until they happen.

It needs protection not because some yahoos are going to blow it up with explosives but take the dam officials/operators 'prisoner' and force them to open the sluice gates and auxiliary tunnels that would lead to flooding of low lying areas, destroying crops and villages in a deluge.
