Thanx for the compliments and all, but it was more of a fluke.

I didn't know it was gonna get the kind of response its had and running on other Social Media platforms now. Hell, some guy messaged me the other day that he saw it air on some TV Channel in Pakistan.

Truth be told, i'm not a fan of it and believe some of my other work is better - but I suppose everyone has their own liking to what they see.

She kept saying no one speaks Punjabi in Balakot but that old Sikh dude got up and schooled her about his interactions with punjabi speakers during 2 year service in the Balakot area. That really pissed her off.

Instead of refuting his claim, she started playing the gender card to put him down. That was pure comedy type hilarious.

Everyone knows lots of people all across kashmir speak multiple languages including punjabi or variation of it. Even the Sikhs know it too well.

What service would Indiab Sikh be doing in Balakot area which is in Khyber Pakhtunkwa. By the way they speak Pashto and Hindko in that region. Certainly nothing like the Punjabi spoken in Lahore or Amritsar.

IMO we should stop trying to convince Indians of all this. If they wish to believe these lies...it's up to them. If anything it's better if they continue to fool themselves. I don't take this lady seriously bcuz she is one of those who is too far gone in her hatred towards Pakistan and Pakistanis...to the point where it majorly effects her thinking/reasoning.

What my concern is...is that she pointed out that there is a growing number of Americans working for the DoD and other such departments in the government(related to defense and foreign policy)...who do not view Pakistan favorably. Part of this has to do with geopolitical changes...the world has changed a great deal since the days of the cold war...and Pakistan at the time was in the US camp and was viewed favorably by the Americans. Since then that generation of American is almost out of the picture...the ones replacing them are effected by successful Indian lobbying, propaganda...and just the overall geopolitical changes and both nations no longer having objectives that are aligned.

This is concerning bcuz it wouldn't be in Pakistan's interest to have more enemies than necessary. Pak's only real dispute is with India(disputed territorial claims)...any other animosity or tensions with other nations are purely political...and can and should be solved. Pakistan should work on building a constructive relationship with all the major world powers and find effective counters against India's long running campaign to malign Pakistan.

There is a vast space in between being a poodle and being enemies. What Pak needs is to find ways to meet halfway in some cases...where things can work out for both instead of being confrontational...

I think this "sending a message" thing is overblown regarding these tests. NONE of these weapons threaten US in any way.

A major part of these tests is to test any upgrades made(which are continually made with time). A second major part is to train the relevant personnel with real hands on training bcuz reading written instructions about following certain procedures can only get u so far.

Individually looking at the systems...
- Fateh 1 is probably being tested bcuz it was in development(it was mentioned by some member here) for quite some time now. So it's quite logical to do actual tests of a system that was in development.
- Ghaznavi has been in Pak's arsenal for quite some time...IIRC it was first tested in early 2000s(and therefore development must have occurred even before that). After all this time(roughly two decades)...upgrading their internals is expected...could be for smaller CEP...could be to change the guidance system to make use of Chinese Beidou instead of or in addition to GPS, etc.
- Similar upgrades, tweaks, modifications...to achieve better parameters would also be the expected reason for other systems such as Shaheen 3 and Babur.

The only message being sent...if any...that I can see...would be to India.

In conclusion I stick to more concrete explanations such as above...rather than an explanation like "sending a message" to US...which seems more like purposefully connecting the dots in a fashion to see the picture u wanted to see.

I don't think the Major Brigadiar was a fool, rather Christine fair was foolish in her claims. He introduced himself as the Brigadier to establish his authority when correcting her silly claim. which really angered Fair who took it personally and started bragging dramatically about her Phd.

As per WIKI, balakot city in KPK has a considerable punjabi speaking population. Also, many hindko speakers know punjabi as well. That's why that Sikh Brigadier knew what he was talking about as he spent time observing the area during his military service.

The majority of the population are speakers of Hindko,[41] an Indo-Aryan language closely related to Punjabi, and also spoken in the rest of Mansehra District. There are also speakers of Gujari.[citation needed] The main city area of Balakot is inhibited by Gujjar, Awan, Swati, Syed, Turk, Mughal and Hanki [Yousafzai, Madakhel]tribes.
