What's new

Last Message from Colonel Mu’ummar Qaddafi

The "new and improved" dispensation is not likely to be better I think.

There is likely to be a civil war.

The poor black Africans will be the worst victims at the hands of these barbarians as they have been in the past at the hands of the Arabs. In massive numbers. Much bigger than even in the West.

My logic is fine.

For regional interests, WEST willingly shakes hands with the supposed devils. However, when they are of no use, the WEST discards them. This game of double-standards is the main problem.

If Gaddafi was a devil, Obama proved be no lesser by pretending to be his friend and later on stabbing him on his back.

I can't speak for Obama but how does a diplomatic meeting (and probably multilateral setting) equate to "pretending to be his friend"?

And I agree that the West has been supping with the devil for long. We would know. We have been a victim of that collusion in our neighborhood.

The West looked the other way when the biggest genocide after WW-2 was going on in our neighborhood.

And most Arab regimes are also puppets of WEST so we do not expect much good from them either.

Your regime is also supposed to be a puppet of the West!

Do you expect better from the average Arab? They are the extremely racist ones towards Asian workers (includes Pakistanis) who are building their country while they sit on their lazy arse.

Anyway, my opinions are my personal views.

i tell you what, stop watching western media for one month for a change..
only then you'll be able to decide it for yourself who's right and who's wrong....
Haven't watched TV in years. Most media personalities - like most people - view events from a set picture frame. Few by comparison are willing to try out different frames and see which ones fit facts best, rather than their own prejudices:

The discovery of truth is prevented most effectively, not by the false appearance things present and which mislead into error, nor directly by weakness of the reasoning powers, but by preconceived opinion, by prejudice, which as a pseudo a priori stands in the path of truth and is then like a contrary wind driving a ship away from land, so that sail and rudder labor in vain.

- Arthur Schopenhauer

right now, there is no point in arguing with you..(btw, its not just about gadaffi, its about every single event that is happening around the world)
If not now, when? When we both have diggers and are about to drive them into each other's chest? Neither of us will learn that way, yes?

For any civilized person the images of the former dictator wounded, beaten, bloodied and begging for his life were disturbing. I had to remind myself of the thousands of terrified, bloodied people stripped of their dignity, who must have begged for their lives in his dreadfuls prisons before they were murdered. (Apparently Gaddafi liked to broadcast videos of victims of his show trials urinating on themselves in fear before they were tortured or executed.)

Then there were the mass executions, the purges that followed the many attempted coups and revolts against him, the wars he fostered in Chad and elsewhere, the bloody but little-reported anti-African campaigns conducted by his Islamic Legion mercenaries.

Gaddafi was a genuine monster and mass murderer, of foreigners as well as of his own people.

Taking dirty revenge, the use of violence against violence, cruelty against cruelty, killing a wounded, harmless, helpless prisoner are tolerate-able? No wonder your government could easily adopt a plan invading sovereign countries like Afghan or Iraq for some dumb reasons.
Killing millions of people in revenge for the death of another several thousands. Sir, revenge is sweet, huh?

And if the west cares so much for countries that are suffering why don't they invade Zimbabwe,Uganda,Chad and the other Affrican countries suffering from dictatorship? Maybe because these countries don't have oil.

Pretty much. Why would we invade those countries, nothing useful there. If we happen to help spread democracy at the same time, then hey that's great.

the rebels didnt leave a difference btw themselves and col gaddafi .......... the way gaddafi was killed was brutal , un human , un islamic , they should have left an example by bringing qadafi to the court and conducting a trial .. any how its done but unfortuantly the rebels seems not in control and there act is no different than what qaddafi was accused of .. i dont see a good libya , it seems there will be a civil war and massive movement btw tribes to regain control over power

Sad i use to like that guy he gave alot of things to his people but then again grass is always greener on the other side

A true "Shaheed", Brother Gaddafi will live for ever in the hearts of the downtrodden colonized masses struggling to be free. He sacrificed his life for opposing the evil with sword in hand. Shall remain an inspiration to people in history. May Allah SWT accept this brave man in Heaven. Amin.

We in Pakistan have seen first-hand, how damaging these puppet leaders that the west installs are. Our current puppet ruler is wrecking the economy and local industry, thankfully he is widely unpopular and his time is almost up.

It's a sad tragedy that the Libyans are now at the mercy of this "democracy". The western-backed rebels were slaughtering thousands of black Libyans from the south even in their early days in Bengazi. The west has a history of installing and supporting genocidal puppet regimes like these, all across from Pol-Pot in Cambodia to the contras in Chile, and various brutal regimes all across South America. With a very powerful global propaganda media mega-corps, they talk in lofty terms of peace and freedom, while they kill millions of innocent unarmed civilians wherever they go, from the millions of dead Vietnamese, to the millions of Afghans and Iraqis.

The US and their European NATO posse tried to paint the revolution in Libya as some local struggle. But then, when the Al-CIAda rebels could only talk and not deliver, US/NATO had to directly step in, first with heavy bombardment and air-support, and eventually to western special forces units leading the fight against the Libyan military. My sincere condolences to the Libyans, we've already seen what this "liberation" does in dozens of cases. The puppet regimes the US installs are very damaging, willing to sell out on anything. Qaddafi was one tough nut to crack for these people though, they've been trying for very long. They tried to kill him with missile strikes in the 80's, brutally killed his 4-year old daughter instead. These are the people who go around the world lecturing everyone about humanity and liberty.
