For the record, according to the latest info available to me; as of 2013 the three world’s largest oil producers were:
USA 12.34-million barrels per day (Vs demand of 19-million bbl. per day)
Saudi Arabia 11.70-million barrels per day
Russia 10.76-million barrels per day.
Other top producers being:
China 4.5-million bbl. (demand 10-million bbl.), Canada 4.1-million bbl., UAE 3.4- million bbl., Iran 3.2-million bbl., Iraq 3.1 million bbl., Mexico 2.9-million bbl., Kuwait 2.8-million bbl., Brazil 2.7-million bbl., Venezuela 2.7-million bbl., Nigeria 2.4-million bbl. & Qatar 2.1-million bbl. per day.
India produced about 980 K bbl. per day against demand of 3.5-million bbl. per day. Pakistan produced 85 K bbl. per day against demand of 455 K bbl. per day.
Please note that production represents crude & condensate & demand include products import. Also data is only a good approximation and may differ slightly in different publications, but for the comparison purposes, it is correct.
