& imran khan should be more optimistic his always critisizing attitude sucks..
I am with you and have same sentiments expect the very last line which I will come to later. You
might want to see this video where Gen Musharraf replies to Mubasher on who will support/ prefer and why
watch from 21:45 onwards, its a big deal where your opponent is willing to praise you and the credit goes to Imran for his impressive record since he stepped into public domain and I appreciate that Musharraf also didnt hesitate in giving the credit where it was due, I don’t want to put a bet on it but by looking at the traditional political leadership this example might be hard to find.
the question was as follows
Mobhasher: Jamat Islami and Therik Insaaf are both untried so who you would prefer.
Musharraf: well I will prefer Tehreek e Insaaf (refring to Imran ) he is honest and untested.
The back ground of untested comment is based on the argument from Musharraf that the current political lot are inept and corrupt and they will always come back whenever there are elections so a third option of untested and honest people is needed which military or technocrats cant provide as they are only a stop gap measure. Permanent solution is only through political means. To which Mubassher gave the names of Jamaat Islami and Tehrik Insaaf.
By the way I wont agree with calling Jamaat Islami as untested, they have been test very thoroughly from Gen Zia era they have been part of the Shura & senate and formed the part of the IJI government and then were part of the MMA and we saw how they gave the free hand to Sawati Taliban. so terming them as untested is haram and eligible for a strong fatwa.
This is why I think Musharaf have a bit of laugh to their name although he sould have said that they were part of IJI and MMA in Khaber. his stance on fuedal system is clear, he is against it of course. maybe PTI members can post some videos or extracts regarding that. but he is clearly against the industrialists and fuedal lords who use politics for their personal benifit at the expense of the people they claim to represent.
Now the last bit of your comment about Imran’s criticism being less impressive (rephrased). Well I will agree when Musharraf was in power and Imran just decided to be against anything Musharaf government did specially WoT, but with passage of time Imran has matured and is talking far better. One of his best deceisons was to refuse to participate in talk shows that included the 2nd and 3rd line of party leaderships of PMLn and PPP etc who are known to be insulting, degrading and getting personal. Imran said that he will participate if the party leader is in the program not with these idiots who don’t have any authority and lack manners. If you listen to him while he is talking to foreign media you will imagine he is the foreign minister representing Pakistan the best way that no one has done in the government so far.
Ok enough praise, my only objection is in his belief that the moment Americans leave and we stop WoT all our terror problems will disappear.
