Lahore Police Academy crises over | One gunman, five collaborators arrested

Unknown Gunmen attacked a Police training school in Lahore today. The fire-fight is still going on. Tune in to your Pakistani news TV channel for more. So far 8 people have been confirmed dead.

The number of gunmen is still unclear but Police and ELITE force is still fighting with them.

8 killed in attack on Police Training School in Lahore

LAHORE: Eight people were killed and several wounded when some unknown persons attacked the Police Training School with hand grenades here in Manawan early in the morning on Monday.

According to sources, unkown attackers threw away hand grenades at the Police Training School in Manawan after which exchange of firing began between the armed attackers and the police which still continues.

Reports said that eight persons were killed and several were injured and they are being shifted to hospital.

What's going around in world. Condolence for all died and well wishes for all injures. But NO sympathy and mercy for culprits , hope security forces will eliminate them soon.

There's a lot of possibilities regarding RAW's involvement in this attack. But I won't say anything now simply because the operation is still going on and only after investigations of this incident would we be able to come up with a conclusion.

But let me tell you something since I've been a resident of Lahore for a LONG time. These well planned "Fire-fights" have never taken place in my city before and only after the whole "Mumbai" hoopla, we are seeing these "Professional" terrorist attacks where the gunmen aren't interested in "Bombing" their target but instead they're heavily armed and taking their chances against the security forces. That's something quite new to Lahore.

Two attacks within a month in Lahore of the same nature. Someone's definitely pulling some professional strings for these attacks.

I wish my deepest condolence to those who died and I quick recovery for those who injured.

I hope they captured or killed those who are involved in this.

I also hope this doesn't lead to India bashing without any proof, just keep an open mind.

Well there's no footage available yet of the gunmen because they've bunkered themselves inside the compound and reports are saying that they have a LOT of ammunition available to them and that's causing some troubles for Police with infiltration of the compound.

I sincerely hope that Army intervenes in this incident as soon as possible so that these idiots are taken out quickly.

However, Elite Force is capable enough to deal with such a threat. They're fighting quite effectively and equally with the terrorist scumbags. The whole compound has been surrounded.

PAKISTAN ARMY RANGERS HAVE ARRIVED ON SCENE!

The crowd and people around the area are chanting "PAK ARMY ZINDABAAD RANGERS ZINDABAAD"!

"Naa ra e Takbir, ALLAH ho Akbar" is being chanted by the crowd supporting the rangers who have started to surround the compound.
