KP Police Reforms: Myth Vs Reality

Yesterday a man was killed by his rival somewhere in KP. It started with robbery. Police arrested the robber but after sometime released him. He went and killed two young boys of the robbed family. FIR was registered but nothing happened. The killer did not flee and stayed in his village. He roamed freely and every now and then used to fire on robbed family’s house. Police maintained they are unable to arrest him because he stays at a “pahari” and whenever we try to go after him he opens up fire on us. Tired of this frustrating situation, victims father hired people to go after the killer. Victims father who arranged for the hired assassins was killed by the same killer who had already killed his sons and young nephews. The hired guns fled. After 20 hours search police found the dead body. However an interesting situation unfolded on the funeral of the victim when presence of a high number of policemen was witnessed guarding the funeral. One cannot help but compliment police department for its efficiency.


Gentlemen we should provide Gunships to that SHO and award him for conducting such a peaceful funeral.

KPK police was good when nasir durrani was IG. Since he left the police slowly went back to their old habits. I remember every police officer used to abuse nasir durrani coz he was strict and demanded professionalism.
With the new KPK govt, the police went further down the drain. The new CM Mahmud khan is worst than buzdar and is totally clueless and useless.
