Sindh Rangers Force has been deployed in Karachi since 1989......their performance in the past 27 years speaks volumes. They have been known to be involved in water tanker mafia, land grabbing mafia and various business ventures etc. Fact is, the Rangers is a force meant for the borders, but this force is now very comfortable in the city and will ensure that it is never asked to leave. From the moment the Rangers are asked to vacate the premises at KU to the point where the utility of their presence in the city is questioned, all hell breaks lose and justification is suddenly born, like a miracle.

What you have said up there, against MQM, is a rhetoric that we Karachiites have rejected for the past 25 years and continue to do so through the ballet.

And what people like you do not understand is that the Rangers are a massive drain on our resources in Sindh, they should be relieved and the police system should be enhanced and developed to be free of nepotism, corruption, incompetence and political influence. This is the only solution, along with giving due rights to the people who are elected by Karachiites.

Apart from what I have posted above, please also note how Sindh Government ensures that Rangers are limited to Karachi only, the rest of Sindh is in an even worse state but you do not get frustrated with this discrimination. And you do not want to build up institutions such as our local LEAs.

P.S. There are an estimated 3-4 million Pathans in Karachi with more coming in almost daily. Don't give in to hate rhetoric.

The question was, what have the rangers achieved in the past 27 years of their deployment in the city? Can their existential cost, in the city, justify their service? Would this amount not have served the Government and the City better spent on local LEA's, their capacity and integrity building?

And are the Rangers personnel involved in water hydrants and water tanker mafia, land grabbing and some legitimate business ventures in the city? Can any of that be justified?

There is always another party who playing beautifully in Center and there is harsh results if we talk about it! Keep that TTP( Mehsud) group as a good Taliban who surrender for GOOD and all their claims in past and future get clean up in a special washing machine as like PSP
