PML-N Parliamentary Leader Sardar Mehtab Khan congratulated Khattak and said the smooth transition of power from one civilian elected government to another was a historic day in the country's history.
Meanwhile, Khattak said if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had formed government in the Centre, the US would have not dared to conduct drone strikes.
If we had formed the federal government, Americans would not have dared to conduct drone attacks, Khattak said on the floor of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
Stressing on completely eradicating corruption from KP, the chief minister said the assembly would have a zero-tolerance towards the issue.
The chief minister said his party alone could not solve the issue of terrorism and called on PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif to devise a clear policy on drone attacks and terrorism. We will support the federal government if there is a clear policy.
