Three terrorists killed in CTD custody in North Waziristan

Three terrorists were killed in the custody of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) when unidentified individuals opened fire on them, according to a report by Aaj News.

According to the CTD, the terrorists were being transferred from Miranshah to Bannu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when they were attacked by unidentified assailants. All three of them were pronounced dead at the scene.

"The security forces and CTD personnel successfully repelled the attack, resulting in the death of one attacker, while the others managed to escape," stated the CTD. The slain terrorists were wanted in several serious cases, the statement added.

Better then getting them to court only for useless judiciary to release them or for them to be released in pointless bargains

Them ending up dead will save us a lot of time, effort and money
 
Two terrorists killed during IBO in Jani Khel Bannu

In an intelligence based operation, Security Forces have killed two terrorists Jani Khel, Bannu.
According to the ISPR, the killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and innocent citizens.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
Locals of the area appreciated Security Forces' operation and assured of their full support in eliminating the menace of terrorism.






Security forces kill one terrorist in Bannu

The security forces have killed one terrorist and arrested another during an operation in Domail area of district Bannu on Tuesday.
According to Counter Terrorism Department Bannu Region, the killed and arrested terrorist were wanted to police over attacks on security squad of DSP Iqbal Mohmand in which more than six police personnel were martyred.

On 20th May 2023, security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in area of Tank ,KPK on reported presence of terrorists.

During conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists, resulting in killing of 3 terrorists. The killed terrorists have remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as innocent citizens.

However, during fierce fire exchange, Naik Muhammad Atiq (age 39 years, resident of District Chakwal) & Naik Rajab Ali (age 36 years, resident of District Attock) having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.

In Hasukhel north waziristan, last night terrorists planted explosives on the walls of 02 girls schools, Govt Girls Middle School Hasukhel & Govt Girls Middle school Gul muski. As a result of the blasts, both the schools buildings were partially damaged.

Suicide bomber kills four at Pakistan checkpoint: police

PESHAWAR: A suicide bomber killed four people when he detonated a car bomb at a police checkpoint in a marketplace in northwest Pakistan on Wednesday, officials said.

Pakistan is grappling with an uptick in militancy since the Taliban returned to power in neighbouring Afghanistan, although the latest attack has not yet been claimed by any group.

Local police official Rasool Daraz told AFP two soldiers, a policeman and a civilian were killed when the bomber blew himself up in Liaqat Bazar of the Datta Khel sub-division of North Waziristan.

Militants kill six at energy plant in Pakistan

“The bomber blew up his vehicle while he was being searched at the check post,” he said.

“It seems the bomber wanted to reach another destination but blew himself up after he was stopped by police for a routine search.”

Another five people were wounded in the blast.

A second police official, Tariq Dawar, confirmed the incident and casualties.

22 hurt in attack on security convoy in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least 22 security personnel were injured when a suicide bomber on a motorbike targeted a convoy in the Chehkan area, within the jurisdiction of Sadar police station, on Saturday.

“As per information, the said blast was a suicide attack in which an unknown suicide bomber riding on a motorbike blew himself up on the convoy of security forces,” official sources said, adding that as a result of the attack, at least 22 personnel of the security forces have been injured.

No official statement was received from the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) until going to print.

Official sources said that the convoy was en route to Minza area in South Waziristan district when it came under attack. The area was promptly cordoned off following the suicide attack.

“They injured personnel were shifted to Combined Military Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan, where two of them are reported to be in critical condition,” the official said.

According to police sources, the convoy was attacked near the Wana petrol pump. The sources added that the suicide bomber approached from the rear, passed through the convoy and detonated himself in front of the fourth vehicle in the convoy.

“It is likely that the suicide bomber was waiting for the convoy of the security forces at the petrol pump, which is approximately 400 metres away from the site of the attack,” they said.

Immediately after the attack, a contingent of police led by District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani, along with the security forces, arrived at the scene and initiated a joint search operation in the area.

The injured security personnel included Hawaldar Tanvir, Hawaldar Zulfiqar, Lance Naik Mustafa, Sepoy Hanif, Sepoy Nawaz, Naik Liaquat, Lance Naik Faraz, Naik Shahid, Sepoy Sikandar, Mir Jafer, Ameer Asghar, Naik Azhar, Naik Musa, Sepoy Fida Hussain, Sepoy Sahib Kamal, Sepoy Kamran, Sepoy Tanzeem, Sepoy Arif, Basit Ali, Saleem, Barber Waseem and Driver Sepoy Muneeb.

In Daraban Dera Ismail Khan, in an early morning intelligence based operation security forces successfully eliminated a most wanted terrorist Mazhar alias Jangi (Head Bounty: 25 Lacs PKR) while others accomplice of the terrorist escaped in injured condition.

ISPR On 31 May 2023, terrorists attempted to disrupt the ongoing polio campaign by firing on the members of Polio team, employed in general area Spinwam, North Waziristan District. Security forces, deputed to provide protection to the Polio team, effectively engaged terrorists' location ensuring safety of all members of the team and extricated them unharmed.

However, during ensuing fire exchange between security forces and the terrorists, Sepoy Saqib Ur Rehman (age 25 years, resident of District Mardan) sacrificed his life in the line of duty, embracing Shahadat.
