Sweden used to have a very positive view of Pakistan in 60's. A lot of Swedish researchers wrote books about Pakistan and predicted it to become one of the most developed countries in Asia and world but later our country took a very wrong turn especially under ZAB as his unthoughtful nationalisation destroyed our economy and Zia introduced the religious intolerance and hypocrisy...and we went astray from the highway of progress and prosperity onto a the road to the hell of corruption, extremism and poverty.
I'm sure our Imran Khan as PM of Pakistan will soon visit Sweden himself and I would love to meet him with other leadership of Green party. We can learn a lot from Sweden especially.
- Local government
- Environment
- Cleanliness of the cities
- Sustainability
- Tourism
- How to be bilingual (English and Swedish) without losing the identity
- Education system (though I would prefer Finnish edu system ..both are pretty similar but Finnish is simply the best)
Pakistan and Sweden can cooperate in higher education as Swedish universities are among top universities in the world and Sweden is among the top innovators per capita in the world.
Spotify, Skype., EA-games....are all recent Swedish startups.
I love Sweden and I love Pakistan..
