Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan acknowledged as traitor or not?

Reading around threads both old and new, some members here consider him a hero for afghans. For us there were few greater ghadars during or before partition, and rightly so he tried to dismember this land just as we gained independence. but I've read about isolated pockets that think differently and it got me wondering.

I tried searching for common reactions & opinion about him from a cross section of Pak society but no luck. the only similar footage could find was an excerpt from western documentary trying to portray him as saintly figure, so they interviewed mostly afghan, refugees in Peshawar and indians.

Have you ever heard of Badshah Khan? The Frontier Gandhi? Take a look - YouTube

Yes, he endeavoured to break Pakistan and Muslim unity through separatism. although his ploys failed, he should still be remembered as the two faced dagha baz that he was.

No. He was mohib e watan and worked for betterment of whole Pakistan.

Neither. Don't care about him. he might have been born in Charsadda but is irrelevant and buried outside Pakistan.

Other. (Explain in reply)

Just wanted to gauge the perception of Pakistanis regarding this Bacha Khan, through a poll. Please only Pak members vote, other nationalities esp. Afghan, Indian, discuss but please don't vote we're cognizant of your opinions.

Wanted to gauge the perception of Pakistanis, especially Pakhtuns, regarding this Bacha Khan. Apart from being born in Charsadda as a pakhtun, is there any connection he has with Pakistan's vision and purpose, or just two faced dagha baz?

he was gandhis right hand man and was a traitor no doubt .. he wanted united india that is why gandhi was with him and he was with gandi ..he looked lik gandhi too :cheesy:
