Amardesh editor Mahmudur Rahman said in a leaked phone conversation said that Khaleda Zia is now politically dead and all the RAW agents surrounding her at first take her to India and after that a letter titled "ZIA: The thankless role in saving democracy in Bangladesh" which was published by her name though written in reality by a BNP politician named Sohail in Washington Times has made her looking like dependent on foreign power for coming to power.

He further said that now Khaleda Zia has no trust on people and she is taking the same steps what Hasina had taken earlier for coming to power. He also included that the tone of the letter was like inviting USA and UK to invade Bangladesh. He also criticized Khaleda and Sohail for mentioning in the first three lines that USA was one of the first few country to support self determination of the Bangladeshi people. He told that it was appearing as if Khaleda was trying to please USA by saying such stuff. Mahmudur Rahman blasted Khaleda Zia for vacating the floor for Jamat. He mentioned it is really dangerous for BNP by giving the example of Mawlana Vasani when he in 1969 vacated the floor for Shaikh Mujibur Rahman and Mr. Rahman eventually became the national leader by 1971. He further said that it will be too late when Khale will realize all this and lastly he even said that now a days people are saying there are only two party and they are BAL and Jamat.

The article which was published in Wahington Time with the name of Khaleda Zia.

Mahmudur Rahman, should stick to writing the news and be this great political analyst. Well then again everyone in bangladesh is one! in his defense these are private conversations and the awami league brigade is twisting the words.

What a dumbass! who in the right mind affiliated with the opposition discusses politics over the phone?

wow wow wow what a twisting when Mahmudur Rahman clearly said by himself Khaleda Zia is politically dead, has no trust on people, are now surrounded by RAW agents, asked to invade Bangladesh by USA and UK, trying to do the same what Hasina did earlier ... appeasing foreign country to come to power. So funny from some chamcha brigade...

Going by what one reads here, two things about BD & its posters stand out .

Obsession with conspiracies - more than Indian Soaps.

Low self esteem , self worth & lack of faith in themselves due to which everything is because of someone else.

Khaleda zia's plea to the US government was to save democracy of Bangladesh. Your indian leader sheikh hasina did something dimilar along with whoring herself to your bharath matha.

That was not by Khaleda Zia but by a politician named Shohail ... n keep all of your Awami league and India to yourself... Mahmudur Rahman termed the letter as political suicide and act of RAW.

Praises for India is more frequent by our government and the media than the ones revealing India's true face.

BD politics is very fluid in nature.

There is AL, BNP, and the Military. JI is somewhere in that equation but at a much smaller capacity.

BNP allinace with JI is purely political in nature.

I have seen cases in Dhaka University in the late 80's where JI Shibir supporters would be routinely slapped around by the BNP Chatrodol folks.

It was a common slogan in the campus, " Ekta duita shibir dhoro, shokal bikal nasta koro."

It was actually AL that started teasing and meeting with JI folks for a better shot at the election. When Jahanara Imam commented about this unholy alliance between JI and AL, Hasina said extremely nasty words about her that would have made my Grand Mother blush if she was around.

People have very short memory.

Enjoy your attitude and perception..We are not trying to change that...For me...it is a show where India is a player although it is not intended to be....That is why BD is an intresting place....Even country like Bhutan may not give such a damn importance to Indian influence in their region...I am feeling sorry for you dude...Your nation's political spectrum is decided by some another country....

I want this man to be the next prime minister. Is there any possibility?
