the padmanabha samy temple,in which multi-billion dollars worth treasure was found recently will be now given some really good gadgets for its safety.

1.M16 CARBINES(or rifles?) for the police commandos guarding the treasure

2.High security vaults for keeping the treasure within the temple (made by godrej)

3.these vaults are quarantined to a 300 mtr perimeter,i.e,no one gets 300 mtrs near to the treasure.

4.motion sensors,thermal imaging cameras,day night cameras etc all over the temple and vicinity.

5.x-ray and infrared scanners

6.metal detectors.

7.two armoured personnel carriers (most probably mahendra rakshak or marksman)

8.procurement of retired btr-60 which were once a part of the president's bodyguard is also under consideration.(highly-unlikely)

The normal police force does. But there is a SWAT kind of squad called Force 1 which is better equipped. Force One takes 15 minutes to get ready and respond to a terror strike.
They have a couple of Mahindra Marksmen.

The best is to shift it to a new facility like musuem , the things like those having historical and cultural values and let the people see the people's wealth.

Even the musuem can earn some money..

A world class historical museum like in Egypt would be great for the city.

A .303 is a wonderful and rugged weapon. If properly zeroed it is amazingly accurate at long ranges. Not in sync with the requirements of Police forces today. Yet a weapon worth collecting.

Quite like a .30 Springfield.
