hey.. that's our daily food as well my friend. I hail from coastal karnataka.. border to kerala.. culture is more or less similar!!

i can speak a bit of malyali too my friend.. used to be fluent though!! have lost the touch now..

i dont think any particular state in south claims masala dosa as its own.. but i do like the one i get mostly in karnataka to be honest. masala tastes difefrent in different states!!

And i like the one which i get in my college canteen.. lol

Have you tried madur vada?? Madur is a place between banglore and mysore and you get that only there!!

Yeah, not available at all places. Most "Darshinis" don't make them, they buy it from the "idly factories" which specialise in doing only that. Not many do it at home but try it if you get the chance. Yummy!

thanks maty.. i don't think we get that in mangalore.. will have to try that in bangalore! i will have a chance next month though!!
