In other news, 89% of muslim women in Kerala oppose lowering the marriage age in kerala from the existing age of 18.

The survey conducted also told that on average, 72% of muslims surveyed knew of someone in their community bening married below the age of 18.

Whta do you guys think? Kerala government nattellu kannikumo atho?

Majority of Muslims don't want to lower the age but a few clerics want it to the age when the girls reach puberty.

The reason they give is to stave off sexual frustration. These Mullahs just want to control female sexuality and make sure they never step out of the house.
