ISLAMABAD, Jan 25 (APP): Kashmiri people living on both sides of Line of Control and across the world will observe the Indian Republic Day on Wednesday (Jan 26) as ‘Black Day’ to protest Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and apprise the international community that they want right to self-determination.The Indian Republic Day is being observed as Black Day because India has failed to fulfil its promises of giving the right of self determination to Kashmiris. The day will mark a strong protest on either side of Line of Control by Kashmiris to apprise the world about continued brutalities on innocent Kashmiris and massive violations of human rights by the Indian forces in Indian occupied territory.
All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) will stage a peaceful demonstration in front of the United Nations Military Observers Groups in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) on the Indian Republic Day.
Convener APHC Mehmood Ahmed Saghar told this news agency that representatives of APHC leadership and large number of Kashmiri people will participate in the demonstration.
The APHC representative will also hand-over a memorandum to UNMOGIP office at Bari Imam, urging US Secretary General to implement its resolutions on Kashmir issue and take notice of continuous human rights’ violations by Indian security forces in occupied Kashmir.
