Right. The LTTE were Muslims who received training in Pakistan, weren't they!

The funny thing is that their main strategy in warfare -- suicide bombing -- al-Qaeda and its derivatives all copied from the LTTE. Be proud, or whatever.

LTTE was just one the organizations which were fighting for the rights of Tamils in srilanka..and India supported many of them including LTTE.
but later on they diverted into smuggling, suicide bombing etc..they become power greedy and destroyed ,all other org which were fighting for Tamil, they refused to settle down nothing less than a separate nation under their control..at this point India opposed LTTE and they took revenge by killing then prime minister rajiv Gandhi..
India was the first one to recognise them as terrorists.
