Kashmir Students vs Indian Students

Pakistan is the only enemy country which India has had since the post-independence period. Pakistan has achieved that special status for a reason.

There is nothing illegal about what the students did. Just something very stupid which they knew could have inflamed passions especially with those Pak zindabad slogans.

Pakistan is enemy country but Pakistani cricket team don't represent the policies of government or decisions of Army General/ISI. Cricket/sports and politics are two different things. Its same like listening songs of enemy country and enjoying them make you traitor . When you can appreciate an invite the singers and cricketers of enemy country to perform in India then i don't see whats wrong with cheering for them even when its not crime according to constitutions

Mate.. hate has no logic.. I myself have been a very strong supporter of the thrashing these students got in my posts on this forum, for cheering Pakistani team over India. But now that the heat of the moment is past, I feel a little foolish about it. But I understand why I felt the way I did.. The association with so many unpleasant things and events is so strong that it screws up nice things like sports and music as well.. Sad but true...

Heat of the moment dude heat of the moment. People and their emotions are not normal during a cricket match between India and Pakistan. They should have been more careful that's all. Especially with their Pak zindabad slogans.

Still, as Karan said, hate has no logic as you can also see from the bashing of Baloch students in Punjab for speaking in their native tongue.

We people of sub continent are emotional and intolerant people who have habit of making mountain out of a mole. I have seen many desi bash western culture day and night but at the same time enjoy the social benefits sitting at home then go wear Pakistani /Indian shirts in stadium and cheers for Pakistan/India teams even when they are British nationals. Why gorey dont overreact ? You cannot teach patriotism to people by force. Your overreactions make them do these things

.
why they dont get this heat when fellow indians listen ghulam ali or nusrat fateh ali khan singers of enemy nation

he is right untill you change something on the grounds . . . lip service is only good at forums :)

so far what we have seen in that in this video in partially related to what is happening on indian occupied Kashmir, what kashmirs thought about india and them selfs "don't worry thought Leads to action":guns:

These are not very good analogies.

The local students did not have a problem with the Kashmiris celebrating Pak win but with them celebrating India's loss. If the victory was against any country other than India , the students would not have reacted in this way.

Anyway, this local college fight and disciplinary action taken against these students has been discussed far too much on this forum. I am pretty sure there are bigger things happening in both our respective countries that need to be discussed.

I am just amazed that a few people were shot dead in Pakistan is celebratory gun fire after Pak's victory in the match, yet the Pakistani media and public did not seem nearly as much bothered by that as they are with the temporary suspension of these Kashmiri students from an Indian university. It is a bit amazing how Pakistanis prioritise things. No offence.

Bcoz that's not one against the other.. BTW, I have seen worse brawls between the supporter of 2 clubs, both belonging to the same nation :)

IF two teams play against each other and you celebrate win of one team then it automatically mean you celebrate the loss of other one but as the old dude in video said sports and arts are there for entertainment and should be taken as entertainment. You should appreciate the one who sing good irrespective of his nationality and you should appreciate those who play better irrespective of their nationality . Why get insecure and make it matter of ego ? We have Pakistani who have great respect for sachin, dravid, lara, dale steyan etc

kasmir issue is a matter of ego for boht countries that why this event got so much attention in media of India and Pakistan. The more you guys react on such incidents , the more you give us chances to make fun of you and your democracy but any way yes its have been too much discussion about it

no dear a jingoistic can claim that why you are enjoying listening the song of enemy country when you have singers of your own country..watched abhijeet :D

Supporters of different clubs may have arguments and fights with each others but its not on issue of you are no or less British if you dont support my club and funny thing is players of most of these English football clubs are foreigners but they respect them for their talent even if they are german

If you want to make fun of us and our democracy based on a local college fight and students suspension then that is a comical commentary on you and your country, not anyone else, especially with the state that your country is in.

Not really we dont claim to be largest democracy or great secular nation or champion of human rights the way you does thats why such news of seduction charges and suspension of students by college administration on such silly fights bring big embarrassment

We cannot be more budnaam than what we are right now. Thanks to you guys and western media

1. Sedition charges were dropped two days later so let's not bring that into the discussion.

2. A fight in a college and temporary suspension of students puts questions over India's democracy ? Really ? If you want you can raise question on India's democracy even if a dog gets run over on an Indian street, but that doesn't make the argument credible.

And yeah of course your badnaami is all attributable to Indian and Western media. Pakistanis themselves haven't done anything wrong. Best of luck dude :enjoy:
