Kashmir statement a reminder for UN to honour resolution: Nawaz

In the world, there is always a give and take. Pakistan needs to gain a lot of diplomatic grounds lost over time, but this can surely be done over time. Any long journey starts with smaller steps. The visits to China,Afghanistan and Turkey are a positive development since they depict Pakistan's desire to forge and flourish stable economic relationships with its strategic friends. Of course we have a long "to-do" list on diplomatic front, but it is certainly not the case that we are sitting at point zero.

clearing dust keeps this issue visible :)

Diplomacy alone cannot get you anything. Either you have to be strong against rival and add help through diplomacy or your cause should be something others feel benefited from. 1st one is out of question. 2nd one became out of question because of link to terrorism. Free Kashmir or part of Pakistan will be terror magnet. Like today Afghanistan is and there is no one to control it. India controls terrorism in Kashmir and reduces worlds headache. Kashmiri who made it religious fight hurt it most.

Resolution also directs India to reduce her number of troops to minimum. One should read any document to its entirety. Anyway, how are you?

who decides the minimum ?? that's a subjective number

Well interesting scenarios my friend, but how India "Controls the 'terrorism'" led to UN resolution. I hope they keep doing this mistake, certainly strengthen Pakistan's case. Diplomacy, my friends, is the best weapon in the age of globalization.

Sorry but what are you trying to say exactly.

we are good at defence, diplomacy and media..so Kashmir is going nowhere and your UN Resolution is as good as dead.

0.6 million, hmmm! So how many troops did you withdraw on Jan 6 1949? Lets see if a subjective number is justified.

No clue man.. Its mostly Pakistanis who are infatuated with the history (their version at that) of Kashmir

He can use this same script again neXt year.

Half of J&K is already gone

No.. We manage to gain only half of Kashmir. What you have was lost by the Maharaja of Kashmir. Though some parts of Northern areas were lost after the maharaja acceded to India

Half of J&K is already gone

that was when Pakistan attacked Kashmir under raja hari singh'rs rule and the attack resulted Kashmir acceding to India and India defended the other half of the Kashmir..if Pakistan agreed peaceful settlement Kashmir would have been acceded to Pakistan instead of India.

That's what you think, and keep thinking like this till you wake up to reality.

Goose egg! No reduction whatsoever, let alone a subjective number. Moral, India never complied with the resolution either.
