I work for one of the leading chip makers and most of the senior folks over here started their career with DRDO, BEL, C-DOT etc., all public sector companies. The biggest issue with Indian public sector is low salary and extremely slow decision making process.

Our own ATAGS can fire 48 km with Base Bleed, from the image (TATA 155 MM GUN) we can understand that 42 km this gun which can fire Base bled upto 42 km can fire VLAP upto 55 km. So how far ATAGS will go with VLAP? 70 km???


This will make Rawalpindi/Lahore/Islamabad under this artillery range.

Lahore is already in the range of shorter range artillery above 42 caliber. I do not think that any artillery can reach Islamabad.
