No but Jesus is my favorite in theology.

This one looks possessed. Imagine biting of an animals head and then call yourself vegan  That's why you know Indians are full of shit. Never trust a brown person with your spirituality
Indians know this themselves. Even the "Hindus" are just Hindus by label or origins, they're actually atheist.

Iqbal gave it straightforward to them and these muslims of the subcontinent are still in their denial - so I should expand on it
Yun tu syed bhi ho, mirza bhi ho, “we” bhi ho..
Sab bakwas choro ye batao tum kya ho?

Kya kiya hai aisa jo “we” ke saath naam lagani ki jurrat bhi rakhte ho.

Hakim tumhare haram ki khatay hain aur tum un ke bache kuche ko chaat jatay ho

Sach tu yeh hai ke tum sirf Behis, behaya aur beghairat hi ho..
Issi kali ke pujari ke saath ke ho

People of this region - not linked to the overall histories of different regions which had Islam come in and create different changes and catalysts
Until Pakistan doesn't internalise religion as a secondary religious quality, and learn a true objective sense of history with a clear national goal for development, it will remain a cultural mess. It needs to be more like Bangladesh when it comes to religion. We need more progressive thought and intellectual discourse tolerance - not to be confused with degenerate kind of liberalism where you ape the white man.

All the those renaissance paintings made Jesus cool - just saying

No its a lot deeper and profound than that. He suffered immensely and died young before he could even have a family. He challenged the cabal. His teachings on morality and kindness impacted the entire world directly and indirectly. I am not sure about Christianity the religion but he is a great example to follow.

Just remember this was more than 2000 years ago!

Are you Muslim? Cause what you wrote above is the opposite of what Islam and the Quran states.

We all have multiple identities. I am a human, a man, a Muslim, a Pakistani, a Karachiite, a business professional, etc. How I see myself and project myself depends on what identity is most important to me. That is how I primarily define myself.

In the middle east and the west, some Pakistanis hang out with other desis regardless of their religion because to them, their common culture takes precedence. Others feel more comfortable with their coreligionists, even if they're not desi.

My point is that identity is a complex concept, and is often self-defined. So it's perfectly valid to identify with 'Muslims' as a group, and 'own' their accomplishments - just as you could 'own' the accomplishments of any other group you feel you belong to.

Same people that criticise Islam btw
Hinduism is not single belief system like Islam. It has maybe 100 different types of beliefs among its adherents. It does not have religious edicts but is based on dharma or moral values.
  • One fundamental principle of the religion is the idea that people’s actions and thoughts directly determine their current life and future lives.
  • Hindus strive to achieve dharma, which is a code of living that emphasizes good conduct and morality.

People from this region weren't the hindu you see..they were follower of ancient vedic beliefs. Pretty different from hinduism but at large they were mostly Buddhist.

Ya he took it unnecessarily overboard and they wouldn't be world renowned but people of this region had their own contributions less or more they were always here ..starting feom sindh valley all the way to the eve of british invasion. Don't want to go into the names here.
Now its our fault if we don't teach our children about them or have some sort of confusion of them being 'hindu'.. which brings me to the first point of false labeling of the ancestors.. Pakistanis dont need to shy away from.hustory else someone else would own it and revise it for them.
There is so much confusion in your post sir

I don't want to go into some theology based discussion, as it takes a unnecessary route here. Fact of the matter is that, Buddhism/Jainism themselves are off shoots of the so called larger 'hindu fold'. Another fact to keep in mind is that, if one goes into deep study -- there is no Hindu religion as such. It's a conglomerate of beliefs / customs / theological discussions / interpretations of few texts like Vedas and puranas which then got included into daily lives by people of this land. None of these remained stagnant, as in they kept evolving and spreading and localizing within sub continent region. Newer belief systems disrupted but then also got localized here. In a very macro sense is what am talking here

The word Hindu or Hinduism is something outsiders gave to the subcontinent on a whole, as even today people struggle to grasp the variety of beliefs and thoughts in this large land. One personality is celebrated in one part, and the same vilified in other. There is no black and white, it's all shades of grey.

In short it's the same people here (call them people who followed Dharmic/Vedic traditions or Hindu customs if we used the word given by outsiders for people living on the other side of Sindhu river valley) in this land, who were influenced in physical and mental ways by insiders and outsiders. So if we go really technical and use the correct word, the Dharmic people have by and large remained in this land (right from present day Pakistan to Kanyakumari, it just evolved over time.. I mean people's beliefs customs etc, but then some kind of basic thoughts or beliefs permeate the larger way of living, which makes one wonder why there are subtle similarities in few things between present day Hindus Muslims Christians etc.)

Keeping aside the hate filled words, don't you think spirituality for any race is personal? As in it develops on individual level, as it's own pace? So one's spirituality can never be in the hands of someone else, that's anti thesis to spiritual growth (as in putting one's own development in another's hand).

You are actually right in that, she is possessed. This exists in tribal areas a lot across India, as that's the first kind of form where humans learnt about god. Gave sacrifices to please him/her (I am sure modern day feminists will love this haha), and as time moved on their thoughts and concepts about the supreme being changed as theological discussions came in.

What we see there is tribal devotion to the supreme, while modern theological concept will abhor such practice, one can't laugh at it and ridicule it cause it doesn't suit our belief system. Sacrificing animals is present across the world from times immemorial, it kept changing over times as people got more sensible.

The modern day Hindus or at least in certain groups of it, give up some food item they love to the deity they worship and love the most. It is also a sort of sacrifice, where in one's giving up something dear to show ones devotion.

Everything aside.. why should someone even use a name given by an outsider when the original identity is sindh....it defeats the very purpose of self respect a person tries to extract out of a legacy. Pakistan could have very well named itself sindh and not Pakistan and achieved the grandeur you try to cash but since it was a modern state it was more about representation of all people it had a generic name not some name that make its people stay stuck in past.
Secondly the word indo hindu was initially only used for people around the sindh river and its tributaries..not for the whole subcontinent..it was much later in 12 century that the terminology 'Hindustan' was used for region .from Kabul to Delhi by the turkic empires and after that the rhe mughals called the what ever territory they captured east or south to be part of their original Hindustan. So you folks just adopted an identity that an invader whether it was turkic or English gave to the land.

Islam is a subculture of Arab culture. That's why its all in Arabic. Its like what Hinduism is to Indians. It is their history, their culture and their customs. So Islam is a culture, its also politics, its a lot of things, but they are all meant for Arabs, to sustain their culture, their practices, their way of life. People all around the world visit every year to give them money. So no its not just a religion is it.

Pakistan is on another continent, with many ethnicities and religions. We have our own culture and history that we must preserve.

WE Muslim’s of the Ummah need to be Bin Qasim again and civilize these people like OUR predecessors civilized the people under Raja Dahir’s rule. We Muslim’s of the Ummah of Rasulallah (ﷺ) have ruled the subcontinent for centuries.
