The sole purpose of CPEC was to develop the deprived areas of Pakistan under the garb of CPEC. But PML(N) made iterations to this project to run it through Punjab to include lands of their ministers and supporters in the route. This leaves KPK and Balochistan with virtually just nothing but roads. Alarmingly all those power projects are near our eastern border. Surely people ahve gone nuts out there.

How many cities in KP are larger than Punjab cities ? Forget Lahore, even Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Gujranwala are bigger than Peshawar. Yet KP gets more industrial zones for its cities !

Punjab is 60% of Pakistan's population Does having a mere 800 MW more energy make any difference ? Going by who is more suffering, is having more energy not a right ?

BTW, Karot is not in Punjab. Its in Azad Kashmir

Multan - Lahore is done. CPEC part is only Multan - Sukkur, Sukkur - Hyderabad, and Hyderabad - Karachi

M-2 was built 20 years ago and its upgrade is not part of CPEC. Its being re-built and operated by FWO of Army and it connects all the way to Islamabad which itself links to M-1 to Peshawar

KP is not interested in Mass Transits. I thought PTI's narrative was schools and hospitals ? Lets suppose if they decide to change their mind. Will they be willing to pay back loan to Chinese like Punjab government has agreed to do ?

The present project has 4 Highway Lines, 4 Railway Lines, benefiting all 4 Provinces and all 4 neighbouring connectivities. On top of that each province gets a share in Energy projects and Economic Zones. Could you ask anything anything for more ?

Punjab is naturally competitive in industrialization. KPK government has done absolute zero in setting up infrastructure industrialization, training industrial labor force setting up infrastructure linkages. A province that still imports 90% of technical labor from Punjab. What do you expect investors to do? Haven't you ever used your brain to figure out that from last three years, KPK hasn't been able to secure a single major investment? A province which has negative migration thanks to lack of business opportunities, lack of skilled labor, deteriorated law and order, rampant black economy is not gonna have an appeal. Chinese are investing in Sindh despite PPP's record why because even Sindh has a better industrial base than KPK. So rather than spewing venom, at least spend some time looking inwards and sorting your own mess.

KPK police never even have resources to protect Peshawar from extortionists so what should they do? leave the city on it own? Its one of lamest excuses. There's a simple rule, YOU OWN YOUR SHIT!
