I can see that multiple people are raising objections here so i will address all of them in one go. KPK Police does not has the resources nor the men to provide security to these Engineers. If you look at IG Nasir Durrani's interview, he said that KPK Police prime objective is securing the people and this is why they are dedicating additional resources for community policing. Personally i don't disagree with that, the primary purpose of any Police Force should be the protection of its citizens. After 2008, KPK Police made the mistake of dedicating majority of their resources to fighting terrorism, forgetting their primary purpose was to protect the people. This resulted in huge crime wave in KPK. This change in strategy by Nasir Durrani has paid off, as we can see that crime in KPK has fallen by triple digits.
I am surprised why people are criticizing the KPK Police and not the Interior Ministry. There are 3 battalions of FC sitting in Islamabad doing nothing. These battalions are raised from KPK and their primary duty is the protection of KPK. Why doesn't the Interior Ministry deploy these battalions back into KPK for the security of the Chinese Engineers. After all, they are doing nothing in Islamabad and would be much better utilized in KPK. The Provincial Government has been asking for their deployment for Years now, but the Federal Government has been resisting this move. In my opinion, its the Federal Government that is responsible and not the Provincial.

Are you stupid or pretending to be one? By all means do give me the figure of how many KPK Police are deployed for VIP Protection. According to the last survey, KPK has the fewest units deployed for VIP Protection according to % of the total force compared to Sindh and especially Punjab.

They are not. Why doesn't the Interior Ministry release the 3 FC Battalions on deputation from KPK sitting in Islamabad doing nothing. The primary responsibility of the Police Force is the protection of its own citizens. Paramilitary forces are much better equipped and trained to provide security to these strategic installations. Why does Chaudhry Nisar not release these FC Battalions, as the KPK Government have been begging them for years to release them.
Pti gov is the worst thing that ever happen to province of KPK. These idiots are creating hurdles on every project of national interest.
Indeed, this is why KPK leads every independent study and survey in terms of governance and deliverance. Compare this 3 years of Government to 30 years of PML-N's experience. Very shameful.

Once again, like always an extremely stupid post. At least do you research before opening your mouth. Federal Government promised the KPK Government that they will release 30 billion Rupees for KPK Police. Not a single rupee released so far, and KPK Government has written them multiple letters asking them to release the money.
Whatever you think not our headache. Punjab is eating up CPEC so provide security for your project. KpK Police do not have such resources. Punjab should divert funds from those big fat ugly belly Punjab policemen to security of this project.

KPK has been begging the Federal Government to release them back to KPK, but like always Chaudhry Nisar is denying that request. Why can't they release these three battalions back to KPK? After all, FC is much better trained and equipped to provide security to these installations.
I know Sir and it is not a new thing I remember when its been many years we have been asking them to kindly release our FC battalions we need them here not for security of federal ministers but the center has turned a blind eye. I also remember that when our police was fighting the dreaded hardcore terrorists in Swat few years back literally with sticks and no modern guns we requested the provincial as well as federal government for weapons but non provided hence the then governor KpK Ghani requested Pakistan army and they provided weapons.
