What's new

Justice (R) Wajihuddin's party membership suspended. lol

Please do not oversimplify it. It is not only Justice Wajih who is expressing concerns, there are people behind him who have joined the party way before him.

@Jazzbot : Bhai, you are one balanced PTI supporter, please enlighten us with your opinion.

Probably the baddest move by PTI after their stance on TTP.

Justice Wajih is one of most respected members of PTI core committee, he was there when the likes of Tareen, SMQ, Khattak etc didn't even think about joining PTI.

He had a meeting with IK few days ago, in which as per him most of the things were agreed and settled. There was only one disputed issue remaining i.e. expelling 5 PTI members including Aleem Khan, Khattak, Tareen etc. Next meeting was scheduled on 8th August to discuss this sole issue.

Now I've seen few programs of Justice Wajih in past 3 - 4 days, he had come on several talk shows and had explained his point of view. I saw all those programs and didn't feel anything bad because he was balanced in conveying his point of view, didn't resort to baseless and senseless criticism on party like what Javed Hashmi did. He talked with logic, and defended PTI and IK well when anchor came up with tricky questions. Overall, I personally don't think he said any such thing because of which his party membership should be revoked.

Now PTI is saying his membership is revoked because he has broken party's code of conduct by appearing in those talk shows. If that truly is the case, then Fozia Qasuri did the same. She caused more damage to party than Justice Wajih. She went on to blame PTI for a lot of things, things which she couldn't proof later on. But Justice sb was always to the point in recent talk shows and didn't say anything that could damage party repute or so.

I'm shocked to hear this news. If this is from IK himself, then he has just shot his own foot.

Agreed.

His conduct on TV shows was remarkable.

Even when anchors were trying to get him to say something spicy or something straight against Imran Khan, he didn't. Always was in support of PTI and IK.

This move as you said, is utter stupidity.

Aisay to Samson Sharaf ko bhi nikalo phir...

this is IK himself . he took the wise decision. when you say that General secretary of a party is corrupt and qabza mafia how do u expect a party not to suspend him. he said it after the notification of 4th august .

.
Well, thankfully he's losing support very quickly. The man will destroy Pakistan in no time.

The Civil Disobedience Movement, The Long March, The Lockdowns, The generalLawlessness should hint a thing or two regarding this man.

I have a question. I am not in Pakistan, nor do I access average Pakistani living there unless I am there. Whats the public's stance on IK now? Just like you provided a list of serious issues that will literally destroy the country, do common people who supported him, see it that way? Do people see the progress the current government is making in terms of infrastructure and all?

Agreed, if you're going to kick people based on this criteria then there are few people who did way more worst than what Justice sb did. Fozia Qasuri is an example which I've explained in my previous post, she's still with party.

Hamid Khan did the same recently, Samson Sharaf as you've mentioned did the same. Speaker KP Assembly Asad Qaiser had a lot of differences with party leadership in past. Even Perzaiz Khattak has given a lot of headache to party in past. Rules should be same for everyone.

I think the main reason behind this decision is not the code of conduct as party is claiming. Justice Wajih was not going to back down from his demand of punishing Tareen, Khattak, Aleem etc. and IK isn't willing to do that because of the key positions these guys hold. So one of them had to do something stupid. Justice Wajih was pushed a lot by anchors recently to do something silly but he did great. Some anchors literally tried to put words in his mouth but he refused and stayed firm.

But as usual, Khan sb has blinked first and did the stupid thing.

Fozia Qasuri did the same. She blamed party for mismanaging party funds and what not. And she did all this because she wasn't selected to become a member of National Assembly on women's reserved seats. She is still with party.

Justice Wajih on the other hand, isn't doing this for any party or NA position. He's doing this for the betterment of the party. You have to give some space and respect to a party member of his stature. The way party leadership gave space and respect to Fozia Kasuri even after all the mess she had created deliberately.

he was fired bcoz PTI specifically issued a notice in which ALL PARTY members were advice not to speak against each other in public. Justice Wajih was the first one who came do hours later and continue with his mud sledging against General secretary of the party

The only thing he could have been thinking is "Election politicians nay jitwanay hain, not upright honest men". All I can think of here.

Stupid stupid move nonetheless.

Let's see what happens now though.

.
its party discipline . Everywhere in world when u leak reports to geo who was running campaign against IK and then you come out and speak against party leadership. you will be expelled .
in above post i explained why it is done now . although he is breaking party rules since last year

Rules are made for people, not the other way around.
I can't grasp how the likes of Tareens and Khattaks stay in positions of power
and Men of integrity like Justice are humiliated by suspending their party
memberships.

I have a question. I am not in Pakistan, nor do I access average Pakistani living there unless I am there. Whats the public's stance on IK now? I hail from Sindh province of Pakistan. The second largest province of Pakistan.
Imran didn't have much support to begin with here.
Out of over 160 seats in State Legislature, his party secured 2 or 3 seats.
But now after all this Chaos, I doubt he has any support left at least here in Sindh.
Things don't look too good for Imran in rest of The Pakistan too but since I don't
live there, I'd best not comment. For the biggest state of Pakistan - Punjab - perhaps a
guy like @Jazzbot would draw a better picture.

As for Current Federal Government's performance, let me tell ya I had soft corner
for Main Opposition Party - People's Party - but after seeing the performance of
PML-N's government, I and most of my friends wish this government serves a second
term too. Pakistan's prosperity lies with PML-N and The Current Army Chief.
Almost Everyone I know acknowledges that. Though their priorities are a little messed up
with regards to education but Hey, something's better than nothing.
I hope The current Government, if secures a second term, would focus less on
infrastructure on more on Human Development. so I hope, at least.

Absolutely right brother. I myself just went through all the available interviews and did not find anything that should have resulted in this unfortunate decision of suspending his basic membership. In addition of going against the party policy, he is also being blamed for accusing senior party members baselessly. What baseless allegations? I did not hear IK ever accusing Justice saheb for wrongly accusing senior party members. His decision (not recommendations) on expelling the 'chaar ka toula' is several months old and IK never expressed reservations over that decision. Yes, he did not agree with acting upon the decision but never challenged the conclusions either.

BTW, I have a question. Does Haroon Rasheed saheb maintains or retain his official membership of PTI or not?

Lets just wait and see something official from some party CEC member, Asad Umer, Sheeri Mizari or IK himself on this issue before digging this any further.

However, I feel is this move is just suicidal. It was discussed and agreed during IK and Wajih's last meeting that next polling in party elections will be done via open polling. Meaning around 7 million party members will be able to vote for all key party positions. It will be impossible for anyone to influence on such elections because he can't buy millions of voters across all over the country, can't force people to vote for him. So if Tareen, Khattak etc are such bad guys, there is huge chance that they will be wiped out of such elections.

Now since this demand from Justice Wajih is already accepted by Imran Khan in last meeting, there was no point doing this drama over this issue. If IK didn't want to kick Tareen etc like this then he should have convinced Wajih that all his recommendations for free and fair party elections will be accepted whole heartdly and in return he should drop his demand of kicking these 5 senior party members. If in next elections, these 5 guys would have got filtered then Justice Wajih would have achieved his goal and IK wouldn't have been blamed. A win win for both.

So this decision doesn't make much sense. I think this 4 ka tola has become way more powerful. Looks like they have influenced on this decision. Justice Wajih was talking about these 4 guys in recent talk shows so this rushed decision shows that they wanted to teach Wajih a lesson and show who's the boss here. I wish I'm wrong, but things don't look too bright.. :(

The only thing he could have been thinking is "Election politicians nay jitwanay hain, not upright honest men". All I can think of here.

Stupid stupid move nonetheless.

Let's see what happens now though.

Lets be fair, Tareen is biggest financier of the party and is sitting general sect of party. Khattak is sitting CM KPK and among most senior party member from KPK, Aleem Khan was President Punjab before Ch. Sarwar and still hold his influence in punjab chapter of party. It will be suicidal to kick such people, not only it will leave huge gaps in party management but will be a PR nightmare.

And above all, next party elections are round the corner. It doesn't make sense to kick them now when we are few months away from next elections. IK should have handled the issue carefully. This look more messed up after this stupid decision.

BTW, I have a question. Does Haroon Rasheed saheb maintains or retains his official membership of PTI or not?

I think he doesn't hold any official membership. But not sure though.

.
Of course Khan isn't involved in anything wrong. He's a saint.
Who said anything otherwise? What I said is Justice, according to The Saint Himself, is a man
of integrity, why would he raise his voice against key party people for mere political gain?
And even if that's true - Where did that integrity The Saint claimed about Justice go?
And do ya seriously believe Justice didn't discuss the said Jackals' role with The Saint privately?

Well, thankfully he's losing support very quickly. The man will destroy Pakistan in no time.
The Civil Disobedience Movement, The Long March, The Lockdowns, The general
Lawlessness should hint a thing or two regarding this man.
Yes he is man of integrity only some fools have tries to accuse him of crap eventually humiliating himself and I have seen these former man of integrity justices before. Just looking for power is clearly visible but your support for corrupt mafias like PML N and PPP is quite visible.

You u know i consider you a friend . Im gona tell you honestly what happened. hamid khan and justice wajih had one group. JK and others have other group. Most of PTI consider hamid khan and justice wajih as freeloaders. Who doesnt have 100 people to vote for them. now when na 125 decision came recently most of the party was of opinion that Hamid khan couldnt win from their, he will not be allotted the ticket. most of his team were not even LG tickets . this is the bone of contention .

Now justice wajid acting as judge, gave decision against every opponent of Hamid khan, in lahore aleem khan, on national level against JK. as he was head PTI election commission he has the power, then he leaked the report on geo. Justice was nowhere to be seen when long march was going on , i personally arranged two corner meeting for hamid khan in 2013 election, he left us embarrassed twice infront of hundreds of people . both of them are free loader, not a single contribution . can u mention a single significant contribution of this group. ?

he is not doing it for party. he is doing it to make his group strong. he is not ideological worker of PTI. he joined PTI after he lost election in 2008, joined after PTI got famous . how can he say who is nazaryati and Who is not .

What stature are we talking about ? Any contribution ? No . Not a single one . When he say he will free party of Musharraf friends , he had no problem when he was judge and taking salary under his rule.

No where in the world this crap is allowed which this Wajih is doing. No part in the world allows this bashing of party on the media. IK should have done this long and just conduct elections in party.
