The issue is not about Jobs' immigrant status, or not. It is about how much you strain to associate the failures of countries to the successes of the US via their immigrants. It means human talents are everywhere but governments fails to give the people avenues to express those talents. If something came from US, we get the credit, not the countries of the immigrants, that is how the world sees it. We are not perfect, never said so. By the way, I am a fit 160 lbs American. I am a first generation immigrant. In high school in Hawai'i, I learned how to fly before I got my driver's license, then I joined the USAF F-111 (Cold War) then F-16 (Desert Storm), and currently in the semicon industry. Am credited with a few patents in collaborating with other semicon pros in several projects. Nothing earthshaking but enough to secure my job for a long time. Been working since I was 12 yrs old and never had a welfare check in my life.

First of all in the past few decades most of it's technological progress is the result of a successful US brain drain strategy I.e getting top intellectuals , scientists etc of other countries who were infact a product of their respective country not the US. Just look at the percentage of foreign scientists working in NASA. Even the android you mentioned is the product of Google and googles cofounder Sergey Brin is Russian. But the majority of the world watches Hollywood exports. And unlike your Russy buddies, they make movies on areas that make money and get audience. For your information, its grossed $1BN , first movie ever. Given that record, I don't think anybody is paying attention to your singular complaint of 'making stupid movies'. You don't have to watch it. Or did somebody put a gun to your head to make you watch it?

As for imported talent: everybody has done it. Germany used Jewish scientists. Ottomans used Hungarian arms engineers to build artillery. This is not a novel concept. I think you are just bitter you could not get a visa to visit so you have gone all Russi. Did they give you a visa?

Here comes another Pakistani who lives in Dallas and now considers himself a brown gora. I find 1980s movies like the original Top Gun have a lot of spirit and energy. Modern Hollywood movies have a lot of CGI, but no plot, no spirit, no energy, like a zombie man. Hollywood sums up the collapse of the American empire. Without good Hollywood propaganda, people will not believe in America anymore, and therefore America collapses. Indeed, the American population is aging, declining, shrinking, weakening. Just like the movie Idiocracy showed. As the American nation ages, it loses energy and vitality, just like a young man ages into an old man, and weakens. This is why Hollywood is not good anymore. To be honest I didn't even watch the movie. It's for idiots. I liked the original 1986 Top Gun movie which had very good spirit, energy, plot. The new Top Gun movie has nothing. Hollywood sucks because America collapsed. American population is aging, shrinking, declining, weakening. That's why today's Hollywood sucks. 1980s Hollywood was at its best.
