I am talking about making a difference in PML's majority in NA...we on the same page here?

It may make a difference in future election though if the proposed white paper from PTI is published and the alternatives and suggestions are given and implemented.

PTI may get one or two more seats, that is all - if that.

Most people were very naive...there was no way PTI was to form a government and IK and all the PTI leadership knew that.
A government in KPK and 30 odd seats (less than expected) is a big success for a nobody from 2 years back.
PTI expected around 50 seats in NA and so did the most critical analyst, rigging may have played it's part but this was expected.
Will it make a difference? No...is PTI pursuing it because it will make a difference? No.

Yes, BUT -- whereas an overwhelming majority was not in the cards, Punjab and Sindh, especially urban centers such as karachi, should have yielded a much higher margin, and even where there was a loss, the margins should not have been as wild as they were -- the managers of the election process appear to think that "Tabdeeli" and "Naya Pakistan" are ideas who time is not going come, at least not in their watch --- A Pashtun in KPK, even as the PTI's power base is in the Punjab, a Punjabi in Punjab, and the criminals of PPP and MQM can fight over KHI --

Yes, in a sense this is not defeat, but neither is it the flowering of the ideas behind Tabdeeli and Naya Pakistan - these are national ideas, not provincial.

The urban centres which did not yield required results were Lahore and Sialkot etc. 4 seats were expected in Lahore, and in 122 and 125, there is overwhelming evidence of rigging, in these both seats, I genuinely believe that PTI would have won.

As for the tabdeeli ka nara, I do think PTI was a bit naive that people would suddenly shift away from feudal politics...they did not field enough feudal candidates, SMQ and Javed Hashmi and the sort did yield the results since they were big names.

All in all, it wasnt a disaster for PTI, but a moderate success IMO.

Everything subsides... But as in all things Pakistani... One shosha is replaced by another shosha. Definitely it will subside with some other form of protests...
