Jordan’s King Finds Fault With Everyone Concerned

Jordan is weak?! Israel is stronger than Jordan but this doesn't mean it's weakl, in fact it's among the first 3 most militarized countries in the world right after Israel, it's personal training quality is among the highest in the world and many world countries train their special forces, armed forces and police forces in Jordan including GCC, Lybia, Algeria Tunisia, Yemen, Pakistan, China, and many other countries. And regarding the vulnerable part, Jordan is among the very few countries which has been the safest and most stable in a very hostile region surrounded with countries in crisis. If it was vulnerable, it wouldn't have survived. This article is just ridiculous. Jordan is not poor nor rich, it's an upper middle class country.

My dear bro. I did not mean weak in the sense you took it. I meant weak compared to the biggest terrorist bordering you and backed by the biggest bully.

You may have diplomatic relations with the predatory neighbor but dont ever consider them friends. They are not your friends and will never be.

I know, my post was a reply to the OP through you.
Not the people nor the king have ever considered them friends and they will never be. Peace treaty came under exceptional conditions.

Muse, my friend, what word of my first post in this thread you don't understand? Believe me, it's not about defaming Sunnah or Saudies at all to jump into conclusions.

I did understand, I just did not thing it appropriate - I'm more than OK with the suggestion that the King may have been misquoted or the quote not presented in the context the King may have meant it - but to then suggest that the Journalist ic a Jew and this is all the motivation for mal fide intent, is not the way you should have handled it - You handle all criticism in this way, that is to say you go sectarian, I would encourage you to try and understand the criticism and formulate an argument and not rely on sectarian formulations, these formulations rob you of credibility - I hope you will consider this, recall Jordan and her King have a peace treaty with Israel and it is one that Jordan honors.

Why is that, care to explain why you think Jordan isn't one of the most successful in ME?

How is it the most successufl in ME ?

Saudi Arabia is not in Me ?
qatar is not in ME ?
UAE is not ?

take those out, and you are left with Yemen, Oman and Syria.

Brother, there is a crystal clear difference between "the most successful" and "one of the most successful". Off course GCC are more successful in many aspects. No one said it's the most.

The most stable in the middle east I would say.

GCC would be a desert with nothing if not for the oil, The British found oil, Europe/USA designed it / Pakistanis and Indians built it. so what credit is there to go for them ?:pop:

The disparity is too great in Middle east after Lebanon. According to economic measure, Jordan lies near the bottom of the basket, with $6000 GDP/capita, above only that of Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

List of ME countries by GDP/capita:

Qatar 104,300 2011
United Arab Emirates 48,800 2011
Kuwait 42,200 2011
Israel 31,400 2011
Bahrain 27,900 2011
Oman 26,900 2011
Saudi Arabia 24,500 2011
Lebanon 15,700 2011

Jordan 6,000 2011
Syria 5,100 2011
Iraq 3,900 2011
Yemen 2,300 2011

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey is an authoritarian who views democracy as a “bus ride,” as in, “Once I get to my stop, I am getting off,” the king said.

I don't know if he said it or not. But if he did, he is damn right. Though, i agree with some of my compatriots about how he is not in a position to criticize Turkey.

Jordan isn't rich and was never so, it's one of the driest countries in the world, 85% of it's land is desert and it has no worthy resources as for now, not to mention that it exists in the most hostile region. Nevertheless, it's stable, secure, have relatively decent education, health, living standards, life expectancy, infrastructure and military. That's what I meant by successful.

I don't why the fuss...He is just a malleable larvae like his breithern of the GCC, save one...All servile servants and CIA's doormats.
