Joint operation to kill Pak Taliban chief Baitullah

and all those who think ISI or Army men can easily become traitors are simply living in fools paradise. While they may disagree with Generals it's not an easy job to defect. My Grandfather was a Colonel in Pakistan (Retired in 80s) and a low level soldier under his command was said to be involved in some fishy activities and the soldier was totured so badly so that no other soldier even think about defecting. This is only possible if All Top Generals are supporting Mehsud.

Baitullah Mehsud can run but he cannot hide now. He represents a clear and present danger to the national security of both Pakistan and US. He may have been a paid asset of CIA in the past but like all pampered assets, he has turned into another uncontrollable Frankenstein!! These Taliban give themselves too much credit in war and war tactics. As we speak Baitullah Mehsud must be looking for a cave somewhere near or above a Chitral peak near Afghanistan. However, he will be found and killed like a whimpering dog that he actually is and with the curse from the families of the hundreds of innocents that his tribe of suicide bombers have killed in Pakistan. He has just made the inch of safe land from him even smaller because now the US Rangers and Pakistan Zarrar Company is looking to crush for him and his follower bearded puppies on both sides!

I simpy cant understand why the Pakistanis have to seek Us help for an operation within its soverign territory. Dont you have planes to bomb him?

'We tipped US twice about his movement and we waited on our a@@@s'.

This is another plain drama enacted in Pakistan by the Pakistani est.

There are weaklings at the help of the Pakistani show. We're effectively being run as an American colony.

We need strong leaders like Nawaz and Imran Khan at the helm. It wouldn't be a drama, as in totally fake, but obviously the whole truth would be concealed from us.

Perhaps your army will soon be able to fight it's war in Punjab after all? It seems as though the war in the west is creeping east.

Certainly eases questions of redeployment. Seems sombody else is choosing to redeploy their troops instead.

‘Mehsud has pals in high places’

LAHORE: Baitullah Mehsud, the brazen Taliban chief based in Waziristan, has been able to escape several attempts to kill and capture him because he has friends in Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency, according to a Newsweek report. An “increasingly-emboldened” Mehsud has claimed credit for several attacks in Pakistan and also threatening to attack the US. "Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world," he told the Associated Press last week. An unnamed Pakistani official told Newsweek that senior US officials had even shared with their counterparts in Islamabad “some intelligence indicating that renegade ISI elements helped Mehsud's group train for the December 2007 assassination of Pakistan's former prime minister Benazir Bhutto”. But despite that and Pakistan's purported knowledge of his whereabouts, “it's a puzzle why they're ignoring and avoiding any strike against him,” one tribal elder in the region told the magazine. “On several occasions over the past couple of years, security forces in Pakistan have launched operations to kill or capture him, and each time he has vanished without incident,” the magazine writes citing unnamed officials in Islamabad and Washington. “Mehsud's contacts, the theory goes, are tipping him off before Pakistani troops can pounce.” "Baitullah is very much mixed up in Afghanistan and with Al Qaeda," said one Afghan Taliban commander, adding that Mehsud was capable of shipping foreign fighters into Afghanistan "and even [farther] west". Washington does not take the threats seriously, according to the Newsweek, but also does not rule out Mehsud could be cooperating with Al Qaeda. daily times monitor

Yeah. We do understand. you won't take responsibility for the monster YOUR culture has created. YOU always want to blame someone else: Americans, Indians, Israelis. Well, tough luck. We don't buy your crocodile tears. YOU love Baitullah Mehsud! HE believes what YOU believe. He's your fellow Pakistani Muslim, not OURS. Born and raised as a Pakistani Muslim through and through.

Correction,

Born Pakistani, raised a schmuck.

His connection to the US will always be speculated since when asked the US to kill him and they could and proper coordinates were given, nothing happened, he was tipped off and he got away.

During one of the operations, when PA launched a major bombing assault, he was easily allowed to come and go to Afghanistan and back at will.

Actually with BM, its more commonly suggested that certain elements of the CIA or RAW are in cahoots with him.

ISI might work with the Taliban, but those would be other mole level people. Not high value targets like him.

Maybe there is some confusion in the ranks ? In 2005 Pakistan Army did make a treaty with them. Maybe at that time he was seen as not so harmful ? Maybe finally both sides know his real colours ?
US was criticizing the treaty even then (and BM was threatening India)- http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=story_8-2-2005_pg1_9

It is odd to see US pointing fingers at Pakistan and Pakistan point fingers right back! It is not like either of them can't get him on their own!

Baitullah Mehsud wants to destabilize Pakistan. He's the biggest enemy of Pakistan. He killed so many innocent Pakistanis, please dont associate that bastard to us.

Pakistanis feel the same about Baitullah Mehsud as Americans feel about Osama Bin Laden.

^ Pakistan never had these problems before U.S. and India made their prescence in Afghanistan.

Dont blame the person for showing his anger, he has to live around people crying everyday because their loved ones were killed in some bomb blast.

I agree with him Pakistan was in a much better state before War on Terror. Pakistan sacraficed the most and is suffering the most because of this war.
