Karachi makes so much money for pakistan and what does it get in return?

Karachi does NOT make a paise for Pakistan. Rather it lives off the economic output of all of Pakistan. The city piggy backs all of Pakistan.

Money is made by exports. Most exports are agri-produce based on cotton. Cities like Faisalabad, Sialkot are the stars of exporting. Rest of the money is made by poor ex-pat workers who send remittances home. And you know where most of them come from. Small villages and towns.
