The main problem of small fighters (JF-17, Tejas, Grippen) is range. Second problem is T/W ratio.

I'll vote for JF-17 for one reason alone...

We dont have to look towards anyone when in need of spares, repairs , upgrades etc

also y r we compairing the two when we know the hi low method PAF have adopted in the matter of these planes.

Why compare that way? We can get 2 to 4 JF-17s for the price of one F-16. Even if JF loses in 1on1 it's still a better option for us becaus we can have more for less. Plus, maintenance is low, and we're making it ourselves.

The last version of F16 is absolutely better than JF-17, In fact, I don't think china will induct JF-17, the JF-17 is joint project of china and PAK, its prupose is for PAK, we hope PAK can grasp the technology through the project. the experience is much more important for PAK, I believe PAK will design and product a good plane by theirself, don't count on other countries including China and USA.
