JF-17 Thunder participated in Graduation Ceremony at Pakistan Air Force Academy Risalpur on October 27, 2011 for the first time.

Why is that navy guy getting the academy sword of honor??
Engineer or Pilot?

The question has been answered in another thread on the Naval chief.. the naval cadet was attending CaE..why? I do not know.

The same flag is handed over at 0:25 and one can see it in full. I think this is flag for overall champion squadron or flight of the term.

Am i getting a notion from the video that navy is going to have their own aviation wing.......

What Do your guys think. coz i don't see any other reason Navy guys are involved in the passout .

Like Army, Navy has its own aviation wing but they don't have jet fighters. As far as presence of Naval chief and one odd cadet is concerned please do remember that all Aviation engineers including (Army and Navy) get degree from CAE. Services chiefs often grace passing out parades of other services. So relax ,no reason to get any notion. nothing new is going to happen

Maybe because he was in the aeronautical engg department of the Navy .... The personal that maintain the Orions and Helos ?

But pak navy does not have any aircraft carriers. Is pakistan gonna make a vtol JF17 by any chance??
